@PowerlifterTy16 Ya, thats prolly a good idea.. I actually didnt max when I used the 5/3/1 until I did around 3 cycles... And that was usually before meets anyway..haha
@PowerlifterTy16 Ya, like I remember when I started my sports curl training on cycle I did 180 for 10. And a couple cycles later I was able to do 200 for 10!
@powabuilda Wow! maybe i should just stick with the standing curls rather than changing over to wall curls. I should do a few cycles first, then max. I hope after I'm done, my standing curl with strict form is about 150. That'd be sweet. My PR is 142.5
Good job Tyler! Last rep definitely looked strict in my book, I think wall curls made your regular curl form stricter, while cheat curls made your regular curls stronger

Those were strict alright. I was impressed that you still had perfect form even on the last rep! Nice! I think you will find wall curls are even harder than regular standing curls.
5/3/1 is one of the best programs out there man, keep up the good work and nice form on the curls btw

@91lilfrozone23 it's for making slow, but steady gains. Curls are the perfect exercise for it because you cant do monster weight with it anyway.
