Alright guys sure bennets good... But to say u wud rather put him in than Thomas? Not a good idea. yes he did lead them to the bcs bowl. He's the qb for god sake! Costa was good but he was so injured he cud hardly play. Without thomas there wud be no qb with experience

@Kidstella He always uploads them the day after. It's a lot to ask for him to put these out the day of the game. It takes him like 6 hours to put these together. I consider the day after to be very fast.

I think Chip Kelly has a decision to make here. Bennett has looked more than impressive here, especially in the run game. He has a very strong arm, but DT has been the guy. He was awesome all last season and for most of this year thus far. I don't think it's as easy as just going to Darren because Bennett has been so good....

@zzhoopsfanzz I don't see Chip going with Bennett over Thomas (other than this game). Darron just had some rust after an injury, and he's been a beast all year. Plus he has way more experience than Bryan. I am excited about Bennett's future with Oregon, but Darron is the man and fully deserves to be.

@zzhoopsfanzz Bennett looks like the better QB to me. I actually don't understand why everyone thinks Darron is so awesome. Yeah he's pretty decent, but he was just as good as Nate Costa if not a little worse IMO and now he's at best a little better than Bennett. Only in the passing department though. I think if UO would have gone with Bennett the whole game that they would have won by a lot more. He doesn't seem to throw interceptions as much as Darron.

@lasoogneypubes yeah, DT's not all that good you know, he just threw 30 TDs last year, pasted Stanford and USC and took us to the title game. No big deal.

You could just as easily say that Casey Matthews or Jeff Maehl or LaMichael James or Cliff Harris etc. etc. were the reason why UO did as well as they did. If UO had used Costa, it would have been the same outcome. Saw them both play and didn't see much of a difference in ability. Same as this year. Bennett or Thomas it makes no difference. This is my opinion obviously but you really can't give all the credit to the QB. He is good though.

@Kidstella Hmm.. To say that Darron Thomas LED the team to the BCS bowl isn't fair. He's not the best on the team. LaMichael James should get the credit for leading them to the BCS bowl. Either way, Darron Thomas isn't having as good a season as he had last year. That should be common knowledge by now, and from what I've seen from Bennett he seems to have more poise, about as good arm accuracy as Darron, can run the ball better, and hasn't thrown an interception to my knowledge.

@lasoogneypubes Actually Bennett has thrown one. Thomas' interceptions are down. He got injured so of course his stats aren't better than last year's. But he has a chance to have better stats than the year before's due to possibly playing 14.
