only a crackhead would think truck driving is a glamorous job ....yeah its glamorous if you like talking to and dealing with assholes evry single day from dispatchers, other drivers, dockworkers and just stupid people who can't drive thats your life every crappy day
Ha Ha Ha. You young meat won't make it out there you guys are going to cry. Ha Ha Ha. Being a proffesional driver is not a game. Once you guys go to the east coast or chicago area you'll cry. Ha Ha Ha...
@wvargas41 You're a hatin little bitch huh? You sound like you need to grow up a little son! It's truck driving not anesthesiology don't flatter yourself!
Being a Truck Driver is very dangerous and hard job.Driving a Gigantic vehicle is hard and keeping up with all appointments and problems on the road is very very hard thing to do.It is not like driving little car, especially going up and down the mountains with 40k in the trailer pulling You back or pushing You down.I just wonna say it is way way more involved in it than just starting the engine and go.
Try 2 drive a BIG RIG,anesthesiology is baby compare 2 truckn
@wvargas41 you know brother how do we know youre even a truck driver? for all we know you could be a 12 year old that thinks hes all that because he just beat 18 wheels of steel.
You only could see 48 states there nothing going to Hawaii and Alaska they got there own fleet. So you can't see all 50 states don't be full of caca...
The first thing you have to learn is how to stay awake driving for along time. You will be working day and night you will not have a steady sleep schedule. You have to deal with aholes on the road.Watch those old trucker movies to learn the legacy of the American trucker. It will be very hard for about a year or two.If you can stick it out you can make good money.Later....
Thank u for a kickazz motivational song.. I found this while looking up cdl permits... Forever one of my utmost fave's... Omg, thank u soo freakin much... Wicked awesome video.. u gotta love it, I do...
The song and everything was great and very well thought out an put together... But my problem was that you had the speed set WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too fast because you couldn't see what was going on in a few of the pictures...
But over all pretty nice an great job, but in the future i would slow it down a bit so you can at the very least see whats going on in the pics...
HA HA motivation video ? I think the this occupation is over. that 1099 idiots who will work for time in a half after 50hrs & pay 30% of the owners fuel to run a truck . most couldn't pass a drug test from all the weed they smoke on a long holiday weekend .live in a trailor park or a gypsies live in a camp ground have no phyisical card or a fake one . points on the license so high that thats all they can get is 1099 burn farm fuel in dump trucks odot is'nt doing enough ......
After I see the truck tomorrow and take it out for a drive, I hope to be able to pass the road test and skills test this coming Thursday. I have an appointment with the DMV at 10:00 AM. So, that's my story.
but they haven't held up to their end of the deal and now I had to try and find another school or somebody who had an automatic truck that I could practice and take the test with... See, I will only be able to drive an automatic due to my disability... So, tomorrow morning I am meeting up with somebody with an automatic to take me out on the road. That was after calling over 40 schools. I am a little bit determined to do this. I have already passed the air brakes inspection and pretrip.
When they finally decided to let me take the test, I ended up passing it the first time. That was in May of 2010. I went to go to the school to get the practice that I needed for the driving, but ended up having to move out of the area for eight months. I finally got to go back and begin practicing my backing skills and memorizing pretrip and air brakes test. The problem that I am having now, is that the school but I am going to said they would find me an automatic transmission truck.
Thank you for the very nice video that you created... Am I to assume that you got your CDL? I am in the process of getting mine as well. I needed all the motivation I can get! I am 31 years old, a woman, and I was born with a disability. First I had to get through the doctor's examination... Then I had to convince the DMV to at least let me try and take the written test because they were unsure if I should even be allowed to even though I passed the medical exam... *See second post.*
The first 6 months are the hardest you will ever have but if you stick it out like the song says the rest of the time gets nothing but better. Yes there are ups and downs along the way but they will pass. Also remember as with any job , it is what you make of it. Love what you do and do what you love! If you concentrate on the money you will fail. I am an 11 year driver for C.R England and I have stayed where literally thousands have left and made it my life.
