I LOVE this look... I just played around with it tweaked it using a much more muted yellowy/gold, for a day to night look. Rather than those amazing lashes I opted for a muted drop shawdow effect under the eyes.... LOVE it!!!! Thank you so much for recreating these stellar looks. Even the ones than can't be modified for everyday wear, are still quite inspirational! So thank you!

A lovely look. On a related topic, and this question is open to anyone, how often do you clean your brushes? Do you have a standard rule of once a week, month etc. or is it just according to need? I can imagine, especially with such a saturated brand like Illamasqua, that it's a time consuming process.

I notice that you NEVER use a tissue or cloth under your eyes while your doing darker colors. Is there a reason or is there just an easier way to deal with the fall-out? I try to tip my head forward but it never works as my results are not as good w/o full visibility,DUH!! lol Anyway you and your sister are just simply stunning! WOW! I have spent so muchmoney in the Illamsques counter in Fenwichs Newcastle, just on lip stuff though, Hmm mayebe I shouldtry the eye shadows. The foundations need some more work though, so I have stuck to MAC for that.

Quick question: From my experience with cream eye shadows, they seem to crease after a while (no matter how much you prime). I know you mentioned that shadows tend to stay put on your eyes, but have you heard anything from other makeup artists about creasing with this product?

I have the Liquid Metal in Enrapture, and even with a primer I find that it creases alot. Alot a lot. I normally dont have to much problem with creasing. Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent/minamise that? Is there anything I should be using with it?

It does crease slightly but it stays gold, if that makes sense? You don't really see the creasing.

This is incredible Sam as are all your wonderful and creative looks. Living in London, I have already bought some of the Illamasqua products which are incredible. Mainly their colourful eyeshadows though! I never tried their cream shadows and of course I am crazy about "Solstice" . I was wondering if it would crease on the lids because it is cream based. I do have dry lids though.
