  • i just got a mark III and i cant get the rf adaptor working correctly . i have the old ss-66 but i see you have the ext cord hooked up. was there a trick tto this ?

  • I always wished Sega kept the MARK III design complete with FM sound for the States. I must import me one of these ^_^

  • i'm affraid it will be in vain since mark 3 also as other consoles has a local chip that prevents to play cartridges from other regions. in other words you can't play us cartridges on a japan console...

  • @Skyk0rn: You can with a cart converter, actually. I have one for my Japanese SMS and it works fine.

  • @Grooveraider Unless I'm mistaken it was the Japanese Master System (the same design that was released in the US, re-released in Japan, I know, it's confusing) that had the built in FM sound, while the Mark III used a plug in module to achieve this.

  • the console reminds me of a colecovision even the back of the cartriges look like coleco cartriges
