This was't even the first time that Rush has said such a thing, but each time it has been in reference to posers. You ignored or overlooked my posts on "Operation Stolen Valor". I suggest you search the news for that operation.

cjboog11: What inspired the show topic to be "posers", was just a few days before Rush's show there was a news release of a batch of posers "Operation Stolen Valor" that were in the process of being investigated, prosecuted, sentenced, imprisoned in some were still even fugitives. It's obvious that the reason that the liberals decided to make issue with it, is that Rush debunks a lot of their claims, and the liberals are starting to campaign, so they have exploited the situation politically.

You would know that usually when Rush uses the singular form, he is usually talking about Macbeth because he is the most famous poser "phony soldier" that was used by the liberals as a poster boy for fake war atrocities.

Notice that the caller Rush is talking to before Rush made his comment complained that the media didn't want to talk to real soldiers, that's what inspired say "phony" soldiers.
Caller: "They never talk to REAL soldiers" the soldier even seems to agree. Caller: "if you talk to a real soldier"

Watch the video? No, see, I'm one of the people that listened to it live and knew what Rush was talking about and the context he said it in. It's just the smear to come back after the fact and say he meant this or that, but I know the truth and thats that. And how stupid are democrats to say Rush somehow is against the troops? I mean if they're gonna lie, at least make it believable. Rush gives more and raises more than most.

We've all read the transcript too, not just watched a short video clip. We aren't saying he is against the troops, he just doesn't seem to respect the ones who don't agree with the mission. He attacked the caller who said he was exmilitary and opposed the war, case in point!

I haven't read any transcript! Damnit people! I listened to him say it and knew the context and everything that had lead up to that. Like the fact that he wasn't even the first person to say "phony soldiers". And he has his right to disagree with anybody about the war, but the point is that he didn't use the term "phony soldiers", in the way dems are saying he did, which shows them to be liars on this issue.

Sure sure. He didn't believe that the caller who was a soldier and was against the war even served. He has also slandered General Clark, who spend 34 years in the military repeatedly. I heard Rush say he was "in total awe" of everyone who wears the uniform, obviously he is not or he would respect these people.

You're ignoring the difference between respecting and criticizing. Clark has lied about stuff and Rush pointed it out. Thats not being disrespectful, thats being honest.
This all doesn't matter, because the dems have proven again on this smear that they will tell outright lies about people to try to discredit them. They're just scared of Rush, and they should be!

The truth is that the dems could vote to defund the war and that would be it, but they never wanted to pull out tomorrow anyway. They just told you that to get elected.
If you'd think about Iraq, you'd understand that we can't leave now. I think Pres screwed up by going in anyway, but if we come home now, we would have a 9/11 attack every week.

We want a phased withdrawl, and we knew that the democrats weren't doing to defund the war when they were elected but we knew they were going to try to bring it to a close. When Rush can't refute an argument, he often resorts to name calling.
More and more soldiers like General Clark are making cogent arguments that the war in Iraq is a disaster that shouldn't have even been started. Hence, Rush resorts to calling them "morons" and "phony", in spite of all the evidence that they are wise and heroic.
The taxpayers and the troops both deserve far better than Rush.
