@sahilcc7 wow didn't think anybody would stumble upon this vid anymore.
anyways, yes, the speed dial levers made a huge difference in that i can 'balance' out both brake levers.
on cable brakes, especially with cheap cables, the rear brake lever would tend to feel harder to squeeze than the fronts because of more cable, more resistance.
what glue.....???? why ???........you just tighten them....thats it. They lock automatically. Do you put glue on bolts when you mount rims to a car.....no.
in this case, such torque would probably damage the bolt heads or threads.
besides, the botls that came with the brakes had a thin film of thread locker on them, so why not reapply thread locker if the original film has worn off?
@nitronovice Ok......but those bolts also have some torque....made of steel probably.....just dont overtighten them...... Hey, do you speak Slovene....cause of nitro novice ?
make sure you use some loctite or similar on the screws so they dont back out by themselves over time. i've had good results with permatex blue liquid and gel threadlockers.
i'm not sure the exact name but its permatex for sure, and blue. read the labels: should say its for metal fasteners or something along the lines of that.
remeber to tighten the bolts down in a star pattern slowly, not cranking each bolt down in one go. (:
i already said i didn't know about that until i was done with everything. never got the time to do a vid of the rear brakes. i just got the bleeding kit, so i might make another vid with that eventually.
Did you find the speed dial levers any better compared to the FR-5's?

no the bolts do not automaticallylock.
rims on a car are held on by shear torque.
in this case, such torque would probably damage the bolt heads or threads.

Did you put some washers between bolts and rotor, or you just put bolts and tighten them?

@freemusicblogg
i didn't put any washers on the bolts as none were included, nor were any mentioned in the manual. no problems have shown up yet.

So, your rotors still holds well? Ok, that's what I wanted to know. Going to buy screws without washers, so it's better to ask before I do it. :))
