The "bottom of the barrel" are the Nova "teachers." Now Nova went bankrupt, ^-^ and these disgruntled teachers try to seek overpaid jobs at other language schools. LOL to all your comments about mcEikaiwa schools in my country!!! Why didn't they work at REAL McDonalds in Japan while looking for other jobs? Oh yeah... they couldn't find anything in their native country so they came all the way to my country to teach "mcEikaiwa"...

In Japan there are many foreigners who are invited as our beloved guests to teach English. Normally, they are paid double Japanese salaries, because they have an amazing qualification: they happened to be born in an English speaking country. Wow! Apart from that, they are unqualified and unemployable at home.
Yeah this video is old but I still get a kick out of all these "Clowns" got what they deserved! What my country need is a REAL EIKAIWA instructor who have actual experience in teaching other languages DESPITE not being so called "NATIVE" speaker.

We still have Yabba GABA dude, ECC, other nonsense schools. Japan needs REAL INSTRUCTORS with experience in teaching instead of all these rejects coming into my country. OF COURSE, some are well qualified with genuine interest and good intentions to help out my people so we need to distinguish between genuine ones vs. "Clowns".

(1st person jimmy) i just happened to stumble upon this video and then looked at the comments. i wasn't aware of this sort of chain school and i didn't know there was so much animosity between people who have worked in japan and japanese locals. over all it doesn't seem like a good idea if the schools generate bad felings. i have been to latin america and have met people who taught there. i think there are school chains like this one but they are smaller in numbers.

McMansion, McDonalds, McSushi, etc. etc. NOVA used to be all over the place throughout Japan so it's McDonalds of language school chain.
