These animals who are abused and stranded have no voice and cannot speak for themselves, they are reaching out to us to be thier voice and to care for them. Beautiful video. Thanks for posting. 99.9% of our animals have also been rescue pets right down to our little rats. They all now have the happiest life they could have.

The more pets there are adopted from animal shelters, the less need there would be for animals loosing thiers lives just because nobody loves or cares about them.

Every animal I have ever owned in my 55 years has been a stray or a rescue. They are the absolute best. They know you have saved them. They know life can be so hard and cruel, so when they find your love, they give it back 100 times over. People need to know there are purebred dogs at pounds and shelters as well as mixed breeds. AKC papers mean nothing, so why not go looking for that special friend at a pound? It pays off over and over. Just do it.

Wish there was a way that everyone could be forced to spay or neuter their pets. If you are a pet owner be responsible and have your pet fixed not doing so you are the biggest problem and innocent little lives suffer.Get your animals from a shelter and give them a chance there are so many wonderful dogs in your area shelters just waiting for the right person to come along.

75% of pet dogs in this country are already spayed. The shelter death toll has gone from 23 million in 1970 to less than 4 million today.

And yet, people still act like things are just as horrible as they were 20 years ago, and that if only we made more laws restricting pet ownership, kill-shelters would magically stop killing animals.

The answer is to STOP KILL SHELTERS PERIOD. Stop accepting death as an acceptable option for healthy adoptable animals!

Totally agree! I have a neighbor who does not need animals, she has a six month old small made for indoor puppy and it roams around our neighborhood and we just had the worst ice storm ever and the poor dog was outside half of the day!
