And its not all about graphics OR gameplay, What matters most is BALANCE... if a game isnt balanced(aka WoW) then its not as good as it could've been.

And lol, if u say that WoWs gameplay is complex... you'd be wrong, 90% of classes, (in pve) only use 4-5 spells, some use less, and alot of classes only use about that many spells in PvP also.

Ok, first of all no two mmo's are exactly the same, MOST mmos LOOK the same in ALOT of ways... thats something everyone has to admit, but EVERY mmo has its own unique flavor, with its own unique perks. And while they may look the same, they are definately not. Because you have to remember, when 2 games are of the same genre then of course they will have some of the same things.

Bought the demo, could never be bothered to actually try it. Partly due to the high syst reqs for it and partly because the game just not look that interesting. Looked a lot like WoW actually with the huge quest grinds that don't make sense and lame story concepts/presentation. Just waiting for SWTOR now.

While a pretty game, it lacks massive amount of content, and tries to make up for it with grind quests.

One quest has you kill 53 mobs for a quest item.

BUT WAIT! You have to have 1000 of this item to get one armor piece.

Yes, you have to kill 53000 mobs for 1 armor piece.

Not to mention the economy is jacked since the release of the game, and the Korean farmbots are to blame, which NCSoft has yet to do anything about.

Massively one-sided for the Elyos. Asmodian players get the shaft.

Sounds like the US servers isnt as good as the European ones :P EU barley have any bots at all, and the economy is stable as allways, and most servers are very balanced.

i like this more aion videos please, i know not much people play it but it is good if you look past the grind, haven't played since about october, about a month after release i think? it was great until lvl 30, but there are a ton more quests now and the xp is more then what it used to be when there were double xp weekends in 2.0 now... havent played though.

dude by what u are saying i can conclude you havent played the elyos faction very well. as far as i know, elyos players are more polite and less hardcore, wich makes making contact more fun. u asmos also always whine about the imbalancing dificuilty, sometimes the quests with elys are too easy, so much peeps are doing them while we must wait and keep getting ks'd by everyone. really both side match up fine with eachother. gogo elyos, gogo asmos!

@IISnickerII Take a gander at AionSource in the Israphel subforum. Asmodians just made a comeback after 2-3 months, and the Elyos faction leader Mortred is saying that things are unfairly tilted in favor of the Asmodians. Asmodian faction leaders don't complain about it. ;) Jus' sayin'.

@DimmerMeerkat thank you for the support. and even on telemachus (what supposed to be THE elyos server) has been raided by the asmos for 60% while we have 30% and balaur have 10%. i think asmodians are more hardcore gamers and have more skill than elyos players. even though asmodians are more strict, and i rather wont be part of that.
