  • I feel bad for the guy in blue - Every video!

  • @pma4usa The guy in the white is probably the Tori.

Tori means : The executor of a technique in partnered martial arts practice.

  • nice eyebrows.

  • It seems knowing judo an then gettin into a fight u wouldn't just hurt them u would embarrass the he'll out of them

  • circle throw

  • would this work if your not wearing the gi?

  • @humanoidelectricity Yeah, it would work without a gi if the shirt doesn't rip..Or you could use the arm, shoulder, or back of the head/neck as a no gi variation.

  • @sports4lifej

Works easily even without a gi. I accidently did this throw before I even learned judo in kindergarten. XD

  • i did that in a karate tourmeant and i lose cause 1. i fell first so it like he dropped me 2. i knocked the guy out cold

  • TOMOE-NAGE

  • Damn that part where you are holding him up with your leg is impressive.

  • @qinella It actually really doesn't require a lot of strength. You have him right at his centre of gravity and you use your strongest limb to hold him up. That's why this throw is so useful when you can set it up.

  • ...jerk

  • yo yall need ta stop being a crititc. The are not bad they are good. You're mad because maby u can't do any of the moves :P

  • I wonder how much the guy in blue gets paid for all these videos, it would suck to get thrown around all day.

  • this moves really works i saw it done on tv then i used a couple of times you can get some good momentom and thro them far and they land hard i dont grab the shirt i grab the back of the head super simple move its hard to defend even when they know its coming . my comment is not for the sport of judo.

  • This throw is also known as the "Shatner" throw, as seen on T.V.

It usually coincides with thrilling fight music.

  • haha a lot of people here on youtube are on it for one reason: "BITCH AT EVERYTHING YOU VIEW'. makes me feel sad for them

  • i wish i was a master judokan, big q: judo vs aikido

  • pause at 0:41

the guy wearing the blue robe is

    saying "my balls!!!!!!"

  • @Bullmastic wtf i didnt hear shit

  • what if your opponets bigger than you and you can't lift him with one leg?

  • @vinnie404 you use momentum not strength.

  • @vinnie404 Its all in technique.

  • @vinnie404 then thats why you dont doit god unless your strong and have good skill it works

  • @degreat77

fuck you you aint a professional

  • how do you spell the name of this throw?

  • @chrisbtimmons Tomoe Nage

  • wow every martial arts I go to full of negativ comments, how many of you are actual black belts in the art?, Because I really doubt all of you are.

  • @megamanthehitman All criticisms involving Expert Village aren't towards the subject, they're towards Expert Village.

  • @Shade0591 so I have notice with guitar videos as well

  • @megamanthehitman i doubt any of them are. Thats why they're are here.

  • @Pyffl yeah lol I have done these and been do real dojos , but I would say dojos are better . I will also say these are NOT stupid and usless like people think.

  • @megamanthehitman Dojos are better im a blackbelt in judo and now I teach a friend,I come here to make sure my techniques are correct and to also refresh my memory, alot of the moves I learned how to do are things I havnt used in confrontations they look nice though.

  • Dude that guy did the wrong backfall

  • @TheJudoka93 breakfall*******?

  • @kma4235 if thats how you call it in my school they call it backfall if you fall on your back, Sidefall if you fall on your side, and Frontfall.. thats pretty much self explanitory

  • @TheJudoka93 he did not do it wrong you have to pay close attention to his leg and how it was position

  • judo fighters are at home on the ground arent they ? or some other style..idr but im pretty sure its judo

  • @cricket962 judo is a throwing technique

Jiu jitsu is the ground game

but judo came from jiu jitsu many years ago.

  • @Breninraye Judo is more than throwing, there's some grappling too, chokes and submission holds

  • aprendí esto en Street fighter II

  • i learned this move as a kid and when I used it on the creep that molested me, I was banned from Judo, locked in a nut ward and had to live in my home after the fact, with the perv that targeted me next door lied and being intelligent worked against me... I have to say that feeling bad for his problems today is irrelevant and self defense is meant for self defense.

  • @crazypajser i dont know what im talking about? im a fighter man, so what ever you say :P

Judo is a CLOSE range fight style point blank. Youve never seen a fighter make it big in MMA learning JUST judo right? lol Why is that? because if he cant STRIKE, then he's garbage...plain & simple :) . A judo punk is nothing without kickboxing (even boxing), karate, kung fu, muay thai, or any of the above lol i dont "dream", i fight for a living ;) proove me wrong :)

  • first of all...i fucked up a black belt judo punk when i got to 3rd degree GREEN belt in Hou Quan Kung Fu lol the TRUTH of it all is, that Judo is more of an olympic sport then an actual fight style...because not everybody is gonna wear sleeves (or even a shirt) when they fight you lol And no Judo punk can go against ANYONE who knows how to fight from a distance, point blank lol whats the point of knockin somebody down on the ground if you dont know what to do to them while ON the ground? lol

  • @Guerrero57akaLS first of all... as dumb as u are everyone can see that u do not have the slightest idea of what are u talking about... secondly try to get ur dumb ass ''knocked' on to a plain concrete surface and than try to get the fuck up on your feet...And thirdly there is a variety of techniques that do not require that your opponent have sleeves or even a shirt....So please do try to STFU and keep ur idiotic dreams to ur self..o and btw there is ALLOT of techniques on what to do on ground

  • looks like the old man's lower back cracked..

  • u bastards. i tried this in a fight and i just got punched in the eye when i grabbed him. u guys can go to hell

  • @korrosive2skin 1) you dont go around starting random fights just cause you learn martial arts off the internet

    2) practice means speed and reflex, join a gym

    3) always guard the face, dont just charge in trying to grab his arms or body or the guy will punch you in the face for sure.

    4) maybe he practices martial arts and is just better :P or you're predictable, either way, there's a counter for everything, you cant just trust 1 technique to work 100% of the time, you're supposed to know many

  • @korrosive2skin the more techniques you know, more chances are you know more stuff for different situations, but if you're getting punched in the face, try kickboxing :P then learn judo or jujitsu ;)

  • @korrosive2skin martial art is not about fighting, moron.

  • Mashallah!!!!!! this guy (in White) is talking real calm while he's carrying him

  • ya kno what I think, if I become a black belt and open up my school, it will be a little different. I will be able to demote someone of rank if they don't keep up with their physical, mental, and spiritual (at most keeping up with the virtues taught i.e. self control) as a black belt, they will stay. Unless they are getting old and able to instruct, they can keep their belt since there is nothing to about aging

  • @Chevygearhead454 what do you hold onto?

  • @TheMrE250 The lapel...

  • @TheMrE250 Wait sorry i didnt get the question...wait! what DO u hold onto in wrestling?

  • I LOVE doing this in wrestling especially when an opponent shoots a little too high, great for defense or offense

  • @chevygearhead454 in wrestling, i think youre thinking of the elevator roll, its a similar move to this one, but not exactly the same.

  • lol hes flying

  • his uke fell below his suke to convert into a bookay gabaku throw :D

  • Good shit

  • I Like Landing That Throw It..

  • That's like Ryu's throw. They should demonstrate Ken's tumbling throw instead.

  • @jayemm7891 Nerd...

  • @jayemm7891 Ken was a bit of a show off. No need to tumble twice before discarding opponent. Then again I always did prefer Ken's shuyryuken range which was slighly superior to Ryu's.

  • That is not advanced

  • @mwnt9999 yeah whats advanced about this. Its a basic throw and he doesnt even do it properly. best to get a strog grip, rough him up, pull him down from his belt on his backside, and use your knee (keep it short and sweet) to roll him over and than backflip yourself with him so you end up in mount position on top. A good judo teaches that as a basic move.

  • its not incorect guys.there are thausands of ways of doing a tehnique.the judoka finds the way he does it best, its still a tomo e nage

  • The Uke didn't fall properly >.<

  • incorretli made tomoe nage cause the foot must go first and than u can lie down

  • Also, dont call it "The" sacrifice throw. There are plenty of sacrifice throws in judo besides tomoe nage.

  • If you put your foot into their hip just above the lead leg it's easier to bring your opponent down.

  • kinda like tomoe nage

  • AWESOME STUFF. SUPERIOR!

  • I think in the heat of a fight you may end up grabbing your adversary and we tried to throw that person some kind of way. You did Judo but you didn't know it.

  • lol this expertvillage thing even has judo!!!

  • he got is black belt from a prestigious macdojo

  • I kill my opponents with mind bullets and sacrifice yells and lots of ninja smoke!

  • thats a nice kinetic version... i thought you HAD to slide the left leg under and get your center of balance beneath uke's but i guess if you get uke moving enough, that part isn't necessary

  • @giardiacorp Well, if you get them moving forward their balance will be projected forwards as well, and pulled over your center of balance. It's just easier to take something that's already moving and keep it moving.

  • @giardiacorp Well, if you get them moving forward their balance will be projected forwards as well, and pulled over your center of balance. It's just easier to take something that's already moving and keep it moving.

  • yer not very good..

  • @Icostmoney why does he have a black belt dumb fuck

  • lol ! ! ! switch off your judogi what is it? GRS=?

  • he did this all wrong

  • this is not advanced

  • ur suppose to roll right over him..... sad technique

  • if i got attaked on the streets would judo help me

  • @simpson4563 if someone starts swingin at u itl be mostly a speed thing but basically hook the arm and do a monkey flip it will gain u full mount after that u dnt need much common sence just swing but if theres more than one person than no ur fucked lol

  • does anyone know any good judo throw videos that show throws without gi's?

  • interesting i am a blackbelt in Judo and i have seen that throw before but.. ..you should of done the breakfall roll for that as well

  • you win!

  • I seen a video of this being put into action by a Japense politician. Pretty cool..You tube politican fight

  • apply any of these throws to concrete and get o ut of there without throwing many punches

  • good thow when i was practicing judo yesterday the kid tried to do that to me and then i stopped and guess what he lost.. and when ur in cometion let them attack u and u defend and u got more chancees of winning OR hold there neck not on top and the bottom of the neck so u can hold it long as u like and then u can do anything u want from that persiction

  • His hip is too far away from his uke. It should be right under the ukes emphasis...

  • would he fail on cometion coz he landed on his back first

  • No it is undoubtedly an Ippon, cuz his Uke only lands on his feet and brings his hip up to absorb the drive, but one moment later his back (hope you know what I mean ;) ) is on the Tatami.

On competition there could be a chance that his competitor do the same thing without laying down, but that's not the point ;)

  • Why are so many people critics?Man all these negative comments are annoying.

  • @CliffVictory : hate to say.. but these guys are actually very "terrible"

  • very poor throw closer to basic than advanced the foot should go in the crease of the leg, heal of foot near the balls, not the stomach this stops the opponent rolling off and pinning you to the floor the finished throw should leave both fighters in a straight line and not off to the side

  • would this be legal in wrestling?

  • good question

  • he did it wrong -_- not completely, but in the real tomoe nage (sacrifice throw) you need to place your foot in his stumach BEFORE you hit the ground, its way easier to lift him up then

  • We use a version of this in our jujitsu as an option to throw a bullrushing attacker over...just gotta be careful to tuck your chin as you fall back. Still, this can be dangerous on a street unless you know what you are falling onto.

  • i done this at fight in school first thing and the kid ran away

  • ill bet 3000 dollars it didnt happen

  • @pantsfalldown ill add another 1000 to that bet...no way any judoka would pull that move out in a street fight, its not needed... Osotogary (i think is how its spelled, ya'know the move where you walk 3 steps then trip him by pulling he's leg out from under him) is somthing i would actulay do in a REAL fight. but im not gonna lie, i havn't used judo in a real fight but i do know you only need the basics to beat a common untrained teenage highschool drop out thug...

  • common untrained teenage highschool drop out thug... ahahahahha lol

  • whats so funny about that?......i live in st.louis, and almost 90% of the thugs or jerks that walk the streets that will attack you, are indeed highschool drop out thugs.....around the age of 16-21. damn near every one dangerous where i live is of that category.

  • its just funny the way you say it

  • oh. lol. i didn't think about it like that. but yr right, i can see how it could be read funny. xD

  • @pantsfalldown Haha you better give me 3000 dollars now cause it's happened

  • @pantsfalldown U can give the 3000 dollars cuz i already practiced judo and i already practiced it

  • @pantsfalldown u must be 3000 dollars poorer now!

  • Mister Acuña ur my kamaganak im alos an Acuña

    Cheers!

  • that is called tome-nage

  • "TOMOE NAGE"

  • what is this move called????

  • Tomoe Nage

  • fuck expert village.

  • i like the rice bale throw better :)

  • oouch he didnt break his fall

  • watch his feet , same as slapping the mat with your hand but harder to master

  • no way...i'm from miami!!!

  • I was taught to either slap the ground, or to roll out. It looks and feels cleaner. Eventually I've learned to cartwheel instead of roll. Falling straight on your back like that normally doesn't feel to good, I don't know if that was just an off fall or what though

  • How would you break this sort of fall, though, if you're going straight like that? How readily can you use ukemi to get out of it?

  • uhm in germany its called "radwende"...

how can i describe it in english... use toris arms and hold them that will help u to turn araound in midair and u will land on ur feet or knee.

  • @UltimaXG2 You break the fall with your feet.

  • I saw that in the previous comment, it just looks so ridonkulous, though.

  • breakfalling to this is... character building.

  • the sacrifice throw is used when an enemy is charging at you so the faster the enemy charging at u the more he'll fly back

  • @sawu101 ya i agree, cause just the other day some guy was taking mad shit and he started running at me, got in judo stance and i flipped the fucker over and he hit so hard he couldnt catch his breath for like 5 min.

  • this guy can fuck up everyone on this comment list just admit it in fact 90% probably don't even know what the hell judo is

  • THANK YOU

  • A blackbelt means shit nothing. sorry man but way to many of his vidoes suck..

  • wtf, he didn't break-fall, i just started judo like 2 months ago, and i can break fall, but how do you break fall on that?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!!?!?!?!?

  • Your legs to most of the break-fall. i just helped my friend grade the green belt. What he did was he let-go of my arms so i could do a break fall. but you have to be a bit more advanced.

  • oook, thx

  • Tomoe Nage isn't a throw that white belt ought to run into, and that's why your Sensei didn't teach you that breakfall yet.

  • Yup, beginners usually slam themselves on their own backs trying this. Better to understand how sacrifice/supine moves work first.

  • You break fall by keeping your chin tucked in this is just a demo vid, however an average joe wont know how to break fall this move is a "Take Home The Backon" throw which takes alot of the fight out of your opponent when thrown on hard surface. You can slap to the ground to minimize shock effect but keep chin in and legs tucked. Hope this is helpful.

  • to break the fall in that throw, u hit the ground with your hand before your body does and push your hand down while your body hits the ground, u have to get at the correct time though, or else your hand will sting like a bitch.

  • nice its almost the same thing as the code breaker

  • in a test you have failed

you have to put the foot on the hip bone giving you more pull down and more lift whith your foot

  • all talk i love people who think they're better. he has a black belt for a reason.

  • No kidding. It's amazing how people have to be disrespectful and complain, complain, complain.

  • You can buy a black belt in any sports gear store :p

other than that I agree with you :)

  • @bryce10456 exactly cause hes been able to slam people whos ran there mouths and thought the technique wouldnt work

  • @bryce10456 That guy in the blue gi completely and utterly failed to break his throw.

  • @UltimaXG2 only because his partner was still holding him, not to mention it wasnt very face paced , and he wasnt thrown hard.

  • @bryce10456 It doesnt matter how hard the throw is. If you fail to breakfall, especially as a black belt, that shows you dont have enough reflex and should train fundamentals. also to erodebucket, True it would be easier to bring them down, but the higher the foot on the opponent, the further/harder/better the throw. Ideal foot placement of Tomoe Nage is right on the diaphram, but most people arent flexible enough to pull it off.

  • @bryce10456 some ppl have a black belt but they dont represent that simbol.

  • almost yoko

  • looks like he was doing the superman weeeeeeee!!!!!

  • Awesome!

  • for anyone who wants to learn this throw from someone who isnt a retard, put /watch?v=-fwxrhzJxKg

    after the address

this guy actually knows what hes doing!

  • Kashiwazaki! the god of tomoe nage. Everybody listen to frankieg60!

  • HOLY CRAP!!! I'm signing up for judo next year!!! IM GONNA DIE!!!! (had eye coordination: 0, balance: 0, streangth:0)

  • why dont you get in shape first and boost those points before you hurt yourself. eat healthy too

  • i olso am brown belt in karate

  • Comment removed

  • this guy knows what he is doing.

Im a 3rd degree black belt, and a purple belt in bjj.

this is one of the gi throws that can potentially knock someone out should they execute this maneuver on solid floors. but the reason why i began bjj was to finish a person on a ground should my throws not be enough to knock someone unconcious.

  • I love MMA as much as the next guy, but its overrated and lacks real martial arts. People think that fighters in the UFC are the ultimate in fighters, but they're not. They would all very easily get destroyed by a true black belt in any of the real master of the arts.

  • Well, it depends on how you mean it. I'm sure there are amazing fighters who don't participate in the fights. However, black belt in BJJ or a striking game would prob be wrecked by someone who is capable in multiple martial arts.

Most blue belts in BJJ that I know of go straight to boxing, muay thai, or something else to learn how to strike. I do BJJ, however most people that try to take me down end up with a fist in mouth or knee to face because I know what to look for.

  • big man knows what to look for ey?

  • Ha, I really don't know what you mean by that. I have learned several throws that somebody with knowledge in Judo and BJJ would throw in a real fight situation. I don't ever want to get into a fight and large majority that do martial arts wouldn't start a fight just with a respect thing.

  • I know where your getting at, and ya your right, BJJ is focused more on the ground game, but I see my self training ground game just as much as training my stand up to. The only thing is traditionally samurais never really got them selfs stuck on the ground cause well your armoured and you have weapons its a bad place to be, street wise I dont think you wanna be on cement fighting it would not be good for your spine.. other wise if you got cought in the grass why not.

  • i know karate

  • in 1990 i was tought that when u sit your butt should really be close to to your heel to make it really easier to execute.....it was in 1990...it may be different now
