His voice is great. Considering that he smoked five packs a cigarettes a day along with tremendous amounts of cocaine and alcohol for a better part of a decade, his voice is excellent. Give him some credit.
can any body answer me on this question please! when brian was young did he have a point in which his voice broke into falsetto. like on the song dont worry baby is it his normal voice or is it his falsetto?
He Doesnt sing in falsetto anymore...I think he just lost it. But when he was with the Beach Boys he always sung the Falcetto. He sings really weird now...it's like someone had taken his talent or his life away. He can hardly move...all the freaking drugs he took...and I've been told that after the drugs they gave him lots of drugs to try to stop his schizophrenia. Poor poor guy. He was a genious.
I like this segment; thanks for posting it. It's from the Chapel of Love: Jeff Barry and Friends video. This was a PBS special taped in March of 2000 honoring Jeff and the wonderful songs he's written.
I LOVE Brian Wilson, Pet Sounds is one of the greatest albums of all time, monumental.
That said, this sounds like drunken karaoke. He's offkey so much, and it sounds about as sexy and romantic as six months in rehab. Ronnie did a much better job with "I Can Hear Music". Sorry Brian, I love you...but this really doesn't flatter you.
Gee, that's a great little clip! Love Brian, and Be My Baby!

What makes this unlistenable is the karaoke sounding band and the arrangements. So sterile!

@jasonpchesney Today almost every band is karaoke-sounding, my friend.
