@residentmich1 well having a virgin birth is not the criteria for being superior or greater that the the other. If this is the case then Adam (p.b.u.h) should even have greater status. @Ptuenia look at the total world population it says nearly equal not the individual countries. the difference is negligible. the hadith says that prohet "saw" that most people entering hell were woman. in order to establish a proportion by seeing it, it is compulsory that woman should be a large proportion for if women were only say 51% then it could not be established with seeing. so as per hadith atleast 70%+ (an estimate) must have been seen. a ratio not at all supported by statistics.

More males are born than females; at birth, in most countries, sex ratio is approximately-105 boys to 100 girls. This information is in Wikipedia & other medical Journals too. So the fact remains that more males are born than females, irrespective what happens later. So more Males should be Hell than Females, contrary to what the Mullah says, using a perverted logic. I respect your opinion. However, as I stated earlier, there is no better solution for the surplus women on earth other than the Islamic solution. I know several women wo do not agree with a man having more than 1 wife. However, they have no problem with dating a guy who sleeps with three other females. Worst of all, after he has sex with her, he is not obligated to her in any way. So he can get her greatest treasure for free and abandon her when he is done.

In instances where there are more men, take the USA for example, a number of men are gay or incarcerated; thus, resulting in fewer men to marry available women. Also, killing female babies affects the ratio. It is my opinion that most Muslims and females from Africa/Asia/Mexico avoid the census due to paranoia; i.e., Asian Exclusion Act and what is going on now with Mexicans.

An important fact to consider is qualitative data. The vast majority of statistics are based on quantitative data. Your finding does not apply to every country in the world. With regard to population/ratio, the data is skewed by the number of individuals whom do not participate. Even in the USA the census is plagued by lack of participation. Also, what about gay and incarcerated men, and female infanticide? Do these factors skew the ratio?

2. More female babies being aborted would translate into less men and more women. The abortions of females is causing a huge increase in the percentage of male children in countries like China and India.

3. Without the influence of abortions male and female babies are around 50/50. Women, on average, do live longer then men. That is why there are slightly more woman in cities like NYC. These additional woman are too old to have children.

Read surah 56:22-23. I did not say that a woman will have to share a man. Each woman will be compensated just as men. However, every man will have 2 wives. In this life, there is no solution to the needs of the surplus of women other than allowing a man to marry more than 1 wife. Paradise will be whatever we desire.

I see your point. I converted to Islam 8 years ago, and my wife did about 2 years ago. She shares your opinion. She said that if I married another woman that she would divorce me. In the USA it seems like having more than 1 wife is a problem for most sisters. The good outweighs the bad, but I can see how some sisters can become jealous. WaAlaykum Salam.
