That's not even how it works. I love trading stocks no matter what video i watch on youtube I see ads for stock trading sites. Right now i see a site for forex trading on the right side of your video. Google adsense is way more advanced than just what content is on the page...

@rich8104500 You could... But you would have to buy out all of your Channel inventory which is usually $12 CPM with a few thousand dollar minimum... And then you'd only get Chitika rates back from the ads which would not cover the costs.

Basically if you are a Youtube partner you get Adsense as your only option.

@Silveready1 My book would be a good start.... Truthfully there aren't many good ones out there. The Adsense Forums are a good place, for some tips, attend Google Adsense in your town, that is a good way to get information. in terms of what to do to monetize... Look at what ever Google does on it's sites and copy that. White backgrounds, blue text, ads above the fold, 300 words to the page.. That kinds of stuff.

@Federico84 If your traffic is mostly European they are supposed to be good. But my understanding is that to really perform you need to be mostly UK traffic. I don't know of any sites that have mostly UK traffic, because as soon as you start publishing in English you get mostly US traffic unless you have a .co.uk domain, which is usually not a good play, because there are more people in the US than the UK, so you might as well get that traffic.

@Federico84 Contextual. If you aren't getting ads that are relevant to your content, likely you need to write your content in a way that Google can better understand what your content is about. (spelling the words correctly helps :-) )
