I have a BMW 528i, a great car, love it... though my relative has an Alfa 159, I've driven it and must say, that the steering is blade sharp, the gearbox is very nice, short and sporty,Then Mr. Needell talks about brakes on this particular Alfa.... c'mon you can never say the brakes are bad..they are BREMBOS

@skorob2010 i own a 1986 alfa 75 and i never had problems! of course you have to treat it very gently, alfas are not sturdy like mercedes or any other cars. they require a lot of care and manteinance, but driving them is fantastic. so, if you want a car wich you can use to go to work every day and that does not need care, alfa romeo is the wrong choice, buy a toyota!

Questa macchina è interamente Fiat.....come le audi sono delle volkswagen! Parlando delle prestazioni non è migliore di una Peugeot 407 (ha sospensioni che derivano dalle corse), che però costa in media 4/5000 euro in meno.....Tanto per fare un paragone:

Alfa 159 2.0 mjet 170: 218 Km/h, 0-100 in 8,8 e 18,5 al litro

Bmw 320 d 177 cv: 230 Km/h, 0-100 in 7,9 e 20,4 al litro

E poi è una trazione posteriore, se hai del manico te la godi molto di più e non c'è quadrilatero alto che tenga.....

I tried that alfa. I can assure that the gearbox is perfect. The only thing he should have talked about was the transmission clutch...which is not very sporty (as the one the putted on the 2.4Jtdm).
