As suspected, I think was the run out on the older electronics before the Chumby v1 was released a few days ago for the same price as the chumby guts. Difference's are that the new Chumby has a volume control and some inbuilt flash. Not sure if anything is no longer supported. G sensor and microphone come to mind.

its a wifi enabled medis device with a load of fun toys you can out on it, Chumby Guts is basically just the inner workings so you can build your own enclosure for it and have a very personalized chumby
