I do not agree with the use of the word "we". It is the corrupt warmongers in legislative and executive branches. Democrat or REpublican does not matter. Americans need to vote for the man and not the party. What Ron Paul is doing is brilliant. I hope that Ron Paul and Mike Gravel make it into the White House and bring America back from the brink of catastrophe.

US supported Saddam in 1961 & appointed him as the president of Iraq; US gave Saddam WMDs in the 80s which then was used against the Kurds in 1989 killing 5000 people. US used WMDs & Sadaam as excuse to attack Iraq. These are only a few of the US involvements in the Mid-East. At what point do we hold the US politicians accountable? Gravel has the guts to tell the truth and he is what the US needs. Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney are the axis of evil; they should be brought to justice.

the only big problem I have with Gravel is his little National Initiatve for Democracy. Does he actually believe in direct democracy? That's a sham! The founders didn't include any direct democracy in the Constitution precisely because of the fear of the tyranny of hte majority. A slight 51% could overpower an almost-just-as-large 49%! Is that the kind of politics we want??

It's funny. Mike Gravel is one of the best candidates in the Democratic debates, and yet he is the lowest in the polls. WTF?? Is nothing he says resonating? He's original. He's sharp! He's loud! He's not afraid to say what he really feels. That's what I look for in a candidate. While all you other Dems are having fun worshipping and fantasizing about Hilary or Obama, I'm supporting a real candidate: Mike Gravel. He has skills, experience, balls and knowledge. He doesn't mince words.

Gravel brings up a *LOT* of great points, but his solutions I am completely against. An "International Police Force" would fail brutally. The U.N. is completely useless and a IPF would be an even bigger farce.
This is where Ron Paul would disagree completely with Gravel.
Still, both are great "elder statesmen"

What are you talking about? I think that Gravel and Paul would differ some but if you watch the debates. You will see that they say the same things. End the Fed, End the Iraq war, End the War on Drugs ect. Lets hope that Paul beats Rudy and Gravel beats Hillary. The UN would be great if it wasn't being misused.

Abortion isn't a big issue first of all. Gallup has it as like 3% I believe. Most that were against the ruling were against it because they though it could be used to ban abortion later on.

I'm not forgetting anyone. Great to see the Ron Paul enthusiasm, but I'll only consider voting for him if there isn't a candidate of decency on the left.
Kucinich & Gravel are miles ahead of Paul. Paul is a constitutional eccentric who happens to have some good ideas because they violate the Constitution. As a comprehensive candidate, he's flawed. Still the Republican with the most integrity and right most wrongs, but doesn't do it for me.
