I agree with all of you about Andy. From the moment I saw him I knew I was watching something rare and special. Not only his incredible acting but that unique voice he had. Already I am sick just watching this trailer and seeing someone else in the part. He definately does not command like Andy did and he will be hard pressed to win me and many others over at all. Liam is bit too skinny and lanky, and he's just not as pretty as Andy. But I'm willing to look past his appearance. What bothers me in this teaser and the other trailers is his voice. Andy had this rich, authentic, soulful voice. It didn't seem like he was acting... he just embodied the part. Liam sounds like any other acting yelling. Forced. It's super unfair to him though, stepping into the shoes of someone who knocked the previous role out of the park. I hope he does well, but I'm doubtful.

I agree with all of you about Andy. From the moment I saw him I knew I was watching something rare and special. Not only his incredible acting but that unique voice he had. Already I am sick just watching this trailer and seeing someone else in the part. He definately does not command like Andy did and he will be hard pressed to win me and many others over at all. It just sucks.

Guys a change is always hard to accept, come to terms with it. We should not condemn Liam though, sure he might not be Andy but he brings his own unique elements to the role. Andy also supported the change in lead roles, so us slandering Liam is not only disrespectful to him but also to Andy and a series that we love so much. To honour Andy and his memory lets keep watching. Keep this amazing show running for as long as possible.

Still somethings simply cannot be replaced and no one should tell anyone to accept Liam off the bat, He has to earn that respect. I look to this as a new series entirely. can't go from a powerful actor as Andy to Liam. Andy was Spartacus, and based on what's been revealed so far I do not get that same feeling as when I first saw even a glimpse of Andy. He had a rare quality that it's offense within itself to replace.

I agree with Revan09. Andy was fitting Spartacus character great, but he's no longer with us God bless his soul. Let's support Liam and the series in order for the series to continue. Spartacus fought many legions before his fall even though his body was never found in his last battle. Lets keep watching people. Let the story unraveled.

Liam is bit too skinny and lanky, and he's just not as pretty as Andy. But I'm willing to look past his appearance. What bothers me in this teaser and the other trailers is his voice. Andy had this rich, authentic, soulful voice. It didn't seem like he was acting... he just embodied the part. Liam sounds like any other acting yelling. Forced. It's super unfair to him though, stepping into the shoes of someone who knocked the previous role out of the park. I hope he does well, but I'm doubtful.

@heyrey7 Agreed, he's a bit nasally and that what kinda annoys me whereas Andy was the embodiment of the character, utterly perfection. Liam has his work cut out for him for sure. But I will not automatically support him, he has to earn that kind of regard.

I watch Doctor Who as well as this, and when David Tennant left, I really thought I'd dislike Matt Smith. But I gave him a chance and he turned out pretty good, and added his own new style to the series.
I am hoping Liam will do the same in this. He won't be as good as Andy was I don't think, but I believe it will still be a series worth watching.

@dnaseoos Well everyone is entitled to different opinions, plenty of ppl will agree to what u say and plenty to what I said, I think that way because I think one cannot stick to what's in the past and for me saying Nicholson's Joker was better is just a way of negating others the chance to be better sort of when people say there will never be someone better than Jordan for example, he won't be forgotten but sooner or later someone better comes along. So one performance can outmatch another.
