this will be perfect for smooth user interface with my pc. I use my a tv as a monitor and operate from my bed. I actually use a wireless mouse and keyboard having this app installed on an ipad completely eliminates 2 pieces of hardware into one simple interface.

i recently installed a program called "veency" which lets you take control & view your iphone through your computer. Well after i installed it and played around with it, i decided to uninstall it.I want to remove this tab from my settings because i feel like there is no use for it. I went into cydia and reinstalled veency and removed it once again, but the 'mouse' tab is still there in my iphone settings. Please help me in removing this!!

@chronocream Yeah, kailbreak your ipad, and cydia > search "veency" when thats done get tight vnc on your pc, open the view and enter your ipads local address.

You get a cursor on your ipad screen etc etc.

If someone steals it than I wouldnt be able to track it without leaving the 3g on at all times. This is really cool but since the iPad's RAM is only 256MB then this is almost useless because it's incredibly slow, Windows is not designed for tablets so it's not so touch friendly and the Touch Interface is slow and unresponsive.

TeamViewer comes with a free version which I find better than this 30$ app. There is also a paid version, I think it's about 5 or 6$, but I never found what the difference was. It's an only iPhone-app, but when you use it on the iPad it goes HD :) So thumps down from me, since there's a greater free app. The navigation on TeamViewer is also better.

@ryanhayn no, it's not quite the same technology, this is nothing more than a vnc client, it can connect to any computer running a vnc server(available for windows, linux, mac...)

native "remote desktop" connections to and from windows have more intelligence built in to make it more responsive, vnc is really nothing more than screen capturing with keyboard/mouse capture. but it works well enough on a lan to do simple things, and well enough over the internet for emergency access.
