  • i'm 250lb 5f 11 isgastric sleeve the right for my weight ? and how much will i lose after the surgery ? thanks

  • @midozone74 Hi! Yes you are a candidate for the sleeve. It would be of great benefit. The amount of weight you lose is variable from patient to patient depending on how well you stick to the rules but in my experience the sleeve would bring you down easily to a BMI of 25. So that would be like 170-180 lbs. You would be able to lose more from this point on if you do exercise and follow some other rules we give out. Hope this helps with your question.

  • @fabulosa85 We follow some guidelines for ALL patients going into surgery. These requirements vary depending on age, BMI and other medical conditions. I would definitely ask your doctor about this. Hope this helps.

  • Thank you very much for your answer

  • Thank you for the inspiring and informing videos,

Do you recommend doing the surgery during the weeks of exams?

    Can the surgery affect concertration?

    Thank you

  • @ba7thy Yes it sure can affect concentration since you are recovering from surgery and it may be a bit uncomfortable. I hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Dr. Alvarez
