most games are arcade perfect on neo cd with extras and arranged sountracks cd quality. some games though, have cut animations (newer fighters like last blade), os smaller sprites (aof3). it usually wasnt bad but these 2 games really fucked it up. aof3 looks ass on neo cd compared to aes/mvs. and they really fucked up on last blade 2, you cant taunt in the cd version. when in fact some moves are done with taunt button and some taunts actually where moves on their own.

Heh, that is like a $100 game now. I sold my US copy for that much. I kinda regret it, but it helped by me more AES home carts. Good thing you got a CDZ, it does make that much of a difference in loading for me.

No, I think that it's only designed for the MVS and AES systems.

@townnet You can patch it in, but it mean mutalating the console (modding), best advice, get them on an arcade emulator.

This way, you're not only gting the best out of the graphics, as they were arcade quality, but you have access to the dip switch, service mode etc.

You can also force settings, and create cheats, if you're willing to sit for hours on end figuring out the code as you play the game and ka close watch on how the cis changing with everything that happens on screen LOL

does ms2 lag on neo cd? lags pretty bad on mvs, too bad cause its one of the best in the series

Yeah, it does. I don't know why but MS2 was the only Metal Slug game to lag that much and since the CD was a poort from the game, it makes sense I suppose. Guess if you want your MS2 fix, you've gotta hit up some Metal Slug X

Oh Metal Slug! Such a great series of games. I prefer joystick controllers for metal slug as well but only because hammering the fire button is way way easier for me on that as opposed to a little controller.

Those load times are pretty bad though I think the load times on the PSP antholody might actually be worse :S

Nice vid. This is a great game and a must for any Neo collection. Like you I've also got this on Neo CD because the AES cart is very expensive. The load times are pretty short.
