@azaxYyYyY I can't even understand what you just said but Legacy for the most part takes place in modern times, perhaps with the exception being Scorpion's story. The first season was just a retelling of each character's origin before the tournament. Next season hopefully should be about the tournament but by no means was Legacy boring.

I love the fact that they have made the series more BELIEVABLE, which I have wanted to see for the longest! But although I admire their intent, I think that they are getting out of balance in making it down to earth. You CANNOT have Mortal Kombat without mystical/ancient/supernatural elements. I hope that they don't do this storyline butchering to the movie (if there is one), or else it will be another MK: Annihilation = gargantuous disappointment!

@5Ermacs Have some faith man. Since the director said he will try to incorporate some of MK's mystic qualities, I say it's best to have doubt rather than immediately damn the series. For all we know, all elements of the trailers will be completely obscure from the finished product.

The director says in the interview, using strictly MK lore for the film will prove to be too campy and will look like a series made by Uwe Boll. Do you want that? Fuck no, no one wants that.
