I have a tinny question for You, Tuan. When You are pushing the weights are You trying to flex Your back?? I've heard that helps when you want to do it properly (is it true?), thanks for reply
looking massive and lean man, great work. yeah that exercise looks great, even incorporating some pausing on the stepper would be good too, for eliminating the stretch reflex and making it even harder. good stuff for plateau busting.
I like your videos, you say enough for us to understand what's going on and then execute the concept within a couple minutes. Also, good to see a built Asian dude. There's just few of us lol
the dbs where 80 lbs. if you are looking to build on your ability on stabilizing weights, these wide dbs are better that those really compacted dbs you see in other gyms. it takes more effort for me to press and control the 120 lbs dbs here vs. the 150 compact type that you will find at other cooperate gyms. Part of my increase in strength and growth are because of this type of dumbbell.
I find that a very useful form to maximize the work mostly on the chest. When we do it on the bench we sometime go pass the alignment of where it would be effective to the chest and start getting the back involve. Your methods are gold. Keep up the good work sir and thanks for sharing.
If you are looking for a shoot of my back, try my other videos. You may like the one when I do 415 lbs barbell deadlifts for 12 reps or any of my pull videos. But I think for the best video on my back would be any of my psoing video. On top of that, I just finished a full chest workout. I think with my chest was so full, it would make any part of my body look out of porpertions
Tried it and it's a beast. Usually wen I bench I feel it n my triceps also. But this is all chest. It felt like my chest was pullin apart. Ima do this for a month and c how much mass I've grown. Thanks tuan!
Great video Tuan. I have trouble taking my shoulders out of my bench work. For all of those who are being criticle I have tried the floor version before and could not work it. What I realized was that I could not engage my core properly. I just tried this on the bench and found that it forced me to focus on my pecs and core and I got pumped after just one quick trial set. Great move Tuan. I will be using this.
@vongSTAA I believe that he did this on the bench with a stepper because trying to get heavy dumbbells on the ground is near impossible alone. Another factor I notice is that with the bench + stepper the elevation is different in comparison to the floor. Again, he is doing this exercise not for power but for stability.
so much fail, its simply another board on a bench press. Its not only unsafe but its unbalance. If you guys gonna do this might as well lay on the ground.
@coolamannenpwn His elbows and triceps are were constantly hitting the stepper that he used to limit arm movement. The combination of the weights and the surface of the stepper left that bruise
@coolamannenpwn it is from the pressure and impact of the stepper when my tricep lands on it. Same thing happens when I do the on the floor. It goes away in a day or 2. Just looks back...lol

Like other people have said, wouldn't it have been easier and smarter to just do it on the floor (as the name of the exercise suggests)?
