still horrified by the amount of scissor usage! wool abuse! bad. all those cut ends won't integrate into the felt well... so cutting your roving means you will have stick up fibers that don't play nice when felting. pulling your roving apart to get how much you want will give you a better result than cutting it.
Hi, I am confused about the Needle Felting pen. Do you have to use it with the moulds? I want to needle felt both narrow pieces of felt, e.g. for flower stems, as well as larger areas straight onto a piece of background felt as an embellishment. I am trying to avoid using a felting needle on its own. Should I use the pen or the 5-needle felting tool?
