Is it me or Aniston just has this "shell" around her that she won't break in every movie she's in. Even just the photos showed how "detached" she was in the role.

@PK292TSM I don't think it's her. I always thought it was her excellent posture. Sometimes it makes people look stiff necked, or like they need to loosen their neck a bit. Sometimes small things like that make a big difference. For example people with hunched shoulders look like easy going people that are easy to chill with. That's the way I see it. I don't know her, but body language should aid in acting. I don't know if they study when people take acting classes.

This song was published in 1929. Charles King sings it to Anita Page in the 1929 hit The Broadway Melody. That same year Conrad Nagel sings it to Anita Page in The Hollywood Revue of 1929. The voice is actually that of Charles King though and it is one of the jokes in the movie. An earlier song by Nacio Herb Brown called The Doll Dance sounds very much like a mixture of this song and The Wedding of the Painted Doll. Sting is awesome too!

First published in 1925 Nacio Herb Brown/Arthur Freed. Plenty of recordings made in the last 84 years! I'll bet you can find something for 99-cents on the big record store in the sky. You don't often find the long intro, though. Glad to hear it included here.
