Why romance should be so hard and tragic as in this case ? Even for rich, secure, cultivated and attractive people.Romance is a healthy choice but most of the people afraid to follow it.Like most of the fears, it is baseless.An entire soft opera revolves around this romance and everbody is restless in it.Why?
As much as I liked Caroline, she pretty much is a footnote in the history to the show. Granted, she is the first great love of Ridge's life...I wonder how different the show would have been had they not killed her off.
You know what pisses me off? We B&B fans in Seattle never got to see this thanks to the morons at KIRO TV (CBS) who did not aired the show until 1994. The management at KIRO TV at that time had bad attitudes towards the show when the station received a lot of complaint letters! I know cause I was one of them who wrote in and complain!
joanna is soooo pretty in the scene as caroline- i remembered aonly vaguely that she looked very well when ridge proposed to her, but now i see she really did:) and i love the music in the backround when ridge recalls the old times- they always played that melody when ridge and caroline were married- in their happy days and also when she was dying.

I always said, the golden eras of this show (for me) are 1992 to 1998, and 2001 to 2004...

the music in background is the orchestral version of "This Time Around"..that is Ridge & Caroline theme.
i love this version..the instrumental one. unfortunatley in italian episodes we don't have this background music...it's a pity!
