Do not confuse a political/societal system with an economic system, Amish are probably Libertarian politically plus socialist/communist economically, since they have leaders, otherwise I might say they are anarcho-communist. Communist derived societies only work small scale in the absence of technological advancement, so I'd suggest a form of anarcho-capitalism as most viable.

As for engineering degrees, yes the Census bureau says that we import engineers, but your strawman argument correlating American laziness with a lack of an an engineering degree does not follow. It's a shame to see people just dismiss someone because someone else said they aren't credible. I've listened to alot of Orman's advice and a lot of it makes sense, but when you here her dismiss someone without actually learning about the validity of their statements it just disappointing.
My answer to Suze Orman: If he is right, it doesn't matter if people say he can't win. We need to stop pandering to the media and seek those with real wisdom and let them be heard, not dismissed!
