Al Hibbler, Roy Hamilton, June Valli, Jimmy Young & Les Baxter charted with it in '55, Gene Vincent & Harry Belefonte, '56, Ricky Nelson,'58. About 600 versions have been recorded all together, probably 100 of them before '65.

He sure does put on an awesome show. Saw him in akron ohio the first time he was there. Was warm up for conway twitty, and outdid conway by a long shot. After that I was hooked on him. Saw him several times after that. Once was an outdoor concert. A tornado was overhead, and he waited it out, after it all passed he came back on stage and played a much longer show than he had planned. Always has a great backup band on the road with him who are also very talented.
