There're many things that i don't like about PAP n one of the reasons is national culture... why're we deprived of using Singlish???

i've seen ppl brain-washed by gov Singlish cause it disable us to communicate with the foreigners n cause them to leave a bad impression of us... like, WTH lah? Australians used 'mate' as friends, which, according to the dic is like partner n i don't see that they have a problem in communication with foreigners...

Yes the PAP will still be governing BECAUSE it completely controls the media, police/ISD and elections department. Remember that 40% voted opposition in last elections, and thats not even whole of SG's vote cause of the GRC+walkover system.

The PAP has already made many major mistakes such as the recent billions and billions of OUR MONEY lost by GIC investments. Just that its all covered up well by the PAP's propaganda local media.

Americans work with dignity in construction because US government doesn't just let foreigners to come and replace with a much cheaper pay. Truck drivers in USA is making between US$5~10k every month. now do you people know why we ex-sporen left and never look back?

Maybe people should think about the contributions of PAP before listening to these people who claim that they can govern us better. PAP changed singapore for the better. And the issues regarding foreign workers from the 3rd world country, if we don't invite them, who will be in the construction site? U? Me? They fill up the jobs that singaporeans refuse to do. Think about it...

Singaporeans used to work on construction sites in the past.

But although every year the price of everything from transport to gst to medical to hdb has gone up, since the 1980s till today the pay for construction workers has not gone up. Singaporeans cannot make ends meet by doing construction work anymore.

Even if you go to a 'western' country, you will see locals doing construction work and finding dignity in their work, and have enough to support a whole family.

Think about that too...
