In my top 5 favorite games. I really couldn't understand why someone wouldn't like it. The graphics are amazing, some of the most original and fun gameplay ever, and all the features are awesome. Co-Op is awesome with friends and family, competitive mode is amazing, and single-player well single-player is one of the best Miyamoto campaigns ever.

@linksawsome890 I use a DVD recorder to record gameplay footage, and a program called Magix Movie Edit Pro 12 to edit videos and upload them to youtube. Hope that helps.

I like this game, but I'd consider myself one of those people who's too impatient to really enjoy it. After that mechanical spider shot all of my pikmin to death, I popped in the Action Replay and made all of my pikmin invincible. It was a blast playing through the game with invulnerable pikmin, but I'd still like to beat the game fair and square at least once just to see if I can do it. Oh, and I've seen the pikmin getting attacked at night. It's chaos. Pikmin dying everywhere.

I never played any of the Pikmin-games, because I thought they looked a little too silly for my taste. However, it does look fun and colorful, so I might give it a shot if I can find it!

I also think they should have difficulties.

Easy: Has a lock on feature (like what you want) and enemies are weaker. You also gain more pikmin from a kill.

Medium: No bonuses or down falls.

Hard: Enemies are faster and stronger and you don't get as much pikmin from a dead body.

Lock on or having the enemy highlighted with the cursor. Some way of knowing that I won't be throwing my Pikmin over a cliff because I couldn't read the cursor right.

It hasn't been releashed in America yet so I don't know everything about it. All I know is that they are using the motion controls and pointer instead of using a Gamecube controller.

But in pikmin 2 (If you all realized) that they weakened the enemies in the 2nd one. For example, you can attack a bulborb with 20 pikmin in pikmin 2 and win, but in pikmin 1, you would need over 60 to kill the enemy bulborb. It was more of a challenge. I also think purples are alittle rigged. They may be hard to get, but once you get 100 of them, you can kill anything you see quickly without any challenge (Except the bosses of course). But this is my opinion.

I have both of the Pikmin games, and I am one of the few people how thought Pikmin 1 was easyer than Pikmin 2. Pikmin 2 is filled with enemys and like you said, the bosses are so freakin hard. In Pikmin 1, all you have to do is get 1 part a day, and the rest of the time make more Pikmin, or go after other parts.

This game lead me to alot of questions when I first heard of it. So I didn't bother buying it. 3 years later, my friend rent this game. I was able to play it, man it brought back memories after I rented and beated the first one. I was so amazed when I played Pikmin 2, but I didn't buy it to get my own until I got Brawl and Played Olimar. After that I took a interest in Pikmin. After seeing this review, I was more tempted to get this game. Hopely I can get it tommorow.

The Wii version? I see that it showed as a Remake of the First one. I would wait for the Wii version, but I haven't seen anything about a Wii Make of The 2nd. I haven't heard anything about a Wii Make of the 2nd, just the 1st so I should try to look for information about it if the 2nd will be for the Wii anytime soon. Since I only found the 1st will be Wii make. If you know the 2nd will be Wii make, please tell me since I really want to play Pikmin 2.XD

I believe they are, just as they are with Metroid Prime 1 and 2. I'll have to look into it. Soon? not that soon, but if you can find the gamecube version for a VERY cheap price then go for it.

BTW, if you'll take some tips, edit out your mistakes, you recorded this as you filmed it right? doing filming and recording separate would be better. Also you didn't mention how long this game took you to complete and how long you would expect people to complete it (noobs and pros)

Believe it or not the recording was done after filming, I had to rush it a little for it to be a birthday request video but that's why I have a personal faults section in the description box so viewers will be aware of my mistakes. Good point, I didn't mention how long it will take and can take I'd say over 15 hours to comeplete everything and then there's the co-op mode and versus for extra replay.

Correct, they are working on a new Mario and Zelda title, but they are only in the testing stages so they can't show anything yet or announce anything. Personaly I was hoping they would show a new Starfox and the rumored Kid Icurus game.

I liked Pikmin 2 better than Pikmin 1 although they were both very good. One thing I didn't like in Pikmin 2 was the Emperor Bublax was too easy. In Pikmin 1 he is VERY hard, in Pikmin 2 he is very simple.
