  • My first day in my dorm in the autumn of 1972 @ Boston University I met my roommate who had got to our room first. He had a poster on the wall of bonnie and she was looking hot. I thought who the hell is that chick. Thank you mike for turning me on to bonnie Raitt!

  • One afternoon Bonnie came on the stero when I we were together, Van & I. Van told me that day, that at the concert Bonnie looked at Van and was singing and smiling at him. Bonnie, Van was so in awe with you. R.I.P. H. V. P.

  • Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this version. Lowell George was so awesome and I can't get enough of this live mix! Ups to Bonnie Raitt too!

  • i`ve been looking for this since the all the download sites were outlawed...love this !

  • Thanks zeeyoutoo. jSomoe great music

  • I have uploaded the two songs that came after this gem. Turns out I found mostly the same images that you used.

  • Wow! Soulful music...! What an amazing voice.

  • Holy Moly! This is out of this world! Thank you so much. I cannot believe it. I will stop at nothing to get this now. This is a jewel -- they almost do the intro to "Spoonful" at the start. The blues roots are so evident. Bonnie's voice is like honeyed bourbon. every note is meaningful - the guitar is literally searching for home. Thank you Zee.

  • Spent a few hours at that studio....way back. WLIR did live broadcasts regularly. Great stuff!

  • Hippie girl there's room on my bean bag for 2!!!

  • @lorilporter good snoop find, i agree

  • gave me shivers... beautiful.

  • It's a bootleg made, in part, froma live radio broadcast on, I think, WLIR in Long Island.

  • zeeyoutoo thanks for the upload of an ubscure ditty from 3 absolute blues playing fools on one of Stevie Winwood's best tunes, "And I'm Wasted and I Can't Find My Way Home" My memories are somewhat fuzzy, but around the time this was recorded I believe I was having my fair share of similar experiences! 5*****'s!

  • Where is the rest of the album? Is this available for sale anywhere? It's really quite amazing.

  • @hakaka1 These bootlegs were never commercialy released. They are available for download on several internet sites under various names and playlists. One of the best, and still easily found, is a compilation called Sofa Blues

  • @zeeyoutoo I found the whole session of this with several other gems on a site you probably already know of - I keep getting blocked trying to post the name - Sorry!

  • @lorilporter Just brilliant.
