this its ridiculously common when i got my bike everyone told me "you`re gonna get hurt/ or you`re going to die" and bla bla bla but when i hit the road and i get the sensation of freedom i think "cowards they dont know what they are missing"
i do think that if you get...lets say a sport bike and run on a city street and get hurt, well, suck it, its your fault for being a moronic asshole who likes to show off how fast you can go on a street...thats why i hate sports bikes

If you think you're cool speeding on city roads, you do not deserve anything else. Highways is different story, do there whatever you like.
It's easy to use accelerator on public roads when everyone else drives normally. Come to a track and try what you can (or probably can't) against pros (or at least amateurs)

i know what youre saying about the death stories and i dont even have my bike yet, im just saving for and buying pieces of the protective gear before i get it at the moment, and every time i tell somebody im going to get a bike its immediately "oh i know this guy..." it would be nice to have some encouragement or enthusiasm for petes sake. and at the biker "club" thing i can understand that too haha, im already lookin out for bikes and driving more carefully after reading the msf stuff

hjc fs10 fossil..i think all the newer helmets come with antifog...plus if you still have a hard time there is a product you can add to your shield and you can use a breath guard....i got mine on ebay for 100dollars

oh man...i already got 4 points on my license this year cause i got caught going 140 in an 75...i don't need anymore problems...i'm getting used to riding the bike and now 60mph feels like i'm going about 35....so i don't even want to think about racing.....
holy shit is right....the thing that i didn't tell you is...he clocked me at 84...in the 75...therefor only 9 miles over the speed limit...or i would have gone to jail for a while....but i had to deal with the points...so its ok.

People who want "anti-fog" helmets... get a full face, open the visor about 1.5cms... hey presto, it won't fog up :)

In the UK it's legal if the manouvere is performed "safely" going by your own judgement.
A good sorta rule is the 20:20 rule.
Don't filter if the traffic around you is going more than 20mph
Don't filter at more than 20mph over the traffic around you's speed.
I can get out of my home city in rush hour in 13 minutes on the bike, that takes over an hour in the car :D
