This sand viper has 31" rear tires which allow it to reach speeds of about 80mph with the stock transmission. Adding the 5th gear to the transmission will make the cruising RPM at 60mph a comfortable 3500rpm.
The 1100cc Sand Viper windshield kit shown here was fabricated and assembled at VaDuneBuggy and cost around $1000 installed with windshield wiper.
