This isn't popping. It can count as funk styles, and poppers do use a lot of movements, poses etc. from the stuff he's doing. He's missing the most fundamental element of popping which is hitting or "popping". I haven't ever seen michael jackson ever hit in any of his dancing.

he never said he made the backslide, what he did do though is take that backslide, and made it the "moonwalk" and all the variations of that moonwalk henceforth must be credited to him

No. He learned the moonwalk from Jeffrey Daniels. You can find the video where JD was doing it prior to MJ, when he did a performance in The Top of The Pop show or what's it's name.

We KNOW he learned it from Jeffery Daniels, i never said he didn't. The backslide(the move where you slide back is what it was originally called. The media dubbed it the moonwalk when he started doing it, nobody officially named it that.
