I can hear it... But barely over the damn rattling of your lens cover. Its gremlins for sure. Sounds like a bearing to me, not the turbo. The turbos are known for the police siren noise, but that isn't it from what I can tell... Sorry can't be of any help. If it was diagnosed properly already report back. My 335i makes a slight siren noise at cold start low rpm's.

The wastegates have failed.... time to replace them before it is too late...
I assume that there is a lot of turbo lag when hitting WOT and Check Engine light after a while

i dont think its the turbo either. Not loud enough to be a dying turbo. I think its more along the lines of some type of air leak.
