sounds great man. i have 97 Chevy with the 7.4L in it. the exhaust is stock but i'm thinking about cut the muffler off the dumping it before the rear axle. can you suggest a pipe size. i don't want to much crackle or a raspy sound to it. thanx
haha "what a waste of gas" lol its sad but true. Just goes to show how ridiculous gas prices are. We can't be kids any more and rev our trucks or go for rides because gas is worth gold anymore.
i have a 98 z and mine came stock with dual exhaust, my dad bought it brand new back in 97 and gave it to me last year with 170k miles on it, its now got 190k miles i havent had any major problems with it yet so these are pretty reliable trucks. the lift doesnt neccessarily bring down ur milage but usually your gonna put bigger wider tires on it and thats what hurts your milage.
sorry, but that isnt factory exhaust.... you may have bought it like that, but that isnt from the factory, as for a lift, I have a 3" body lift in mine and I didnt lose much at all...
actually some of the models came withfactory dual exhaust, but you are right this isnt factory exhaust. Its rare but ive seen them, my shop teacher has it, and 2nd if im lifting my truck i gotta put meats under it and yeah that does hurt your gas mileage
it is true duel, I believe it came from factory like this, and as for the suspension, it's stock, i cant afford gas as it is, and a lift wouldnt help too much

I love the way these things sound with pipes. That's the only reason I won't get rid of mine. I'm tired of teh truck, but love the sound.
