I love it...as a disabled rider just 7 years ago I wasnt supposed to walk again much less be cruising around on a 04 Sporty...my bf calls it my therapy and he is so right. I have lost very close friends on bikes..usually they are hit by cars that just didnt see them. I ride to their memorials if I physically can and pay tribute to them...and I dont care if those that dont ride thinks its bad taste...the ones that rode.....are smiling down at me and waving as we all go by.

I agree with buying American when possible.

That's why I ride a 1985 GL1200 Gold Wing Aspencade that was made in Marysville, OH, and am restoring a 1981 GL1100 standard.

Many riders don't realize that Gold Wings were made in the good ol' US of A from May 1980 though the 2010 model year when, due to manufacturing costs, production was moved back to Japan.

So, next time you see an old guy on a Gold Wing, don't turn your nose up at him. He feels the same way about riding as you. Ride Safe.

hehe..sorry, I gotta chuckle cuz I'm an old broad that rides an old hand shift. I accept all riders, but it's funny to see the "uniform" that people think they have to wear to ride to play the part. All expensive HD apparel, haha! Even better is to see how people change their whole personality and stance, like they're bad-asses while in Biker mode. After 30 years of riding, I probably own about 3 articles of HD clothes. Most of these guys wouldn't know how to even START my bike! haha
