  • Wouldn't a diesel RE be even more efficient ?

  • @Name280469 the only reason I can think off why they did not use a diesel is that a diesel engine is too loud.

  • Better than a 100% BEV, better than a 100% ICE. Better even than a hybrid. This my friends, is the EV of the future...

  • They should better call it "Shamu" 'cos it's looking like a killer whale, but killes whales look *good*!

  • i would buy one now

  • much better than toyota

  • @ge0rgecz Don't be so stupid, the Prius is 20 years behind in terms of technology, diesel engines are far more efficient and faster. The prius travles for 3 miles maximum before the battery is flat, this one goes around 40 miles. The prius is a total joke when compared with newer electric cars. Who would even think about buying one. The problem GM/OPEL/VAUXHALL will have is persuading people to pay £22,000 for this car. They will not sell many and panic or go in to financial problems again!

  • @Adamyno Good, do a video of a test drive inside the car and post it as no one has been allowed to take them out of a car park yet. All the tests are at a maximum of 20mph for 400metres on a flat coned circuit. We need to see it on hilly terrain and on a motorway or on mixed driving, also some acceleration and top speeds tests.

One known problem already is that as the charge reduces it limits the power, so after 50% it's sluggish - I hope they fix it and charge a more affordable price.
