i own that fury one... but mine says "true" on it in Japanese not sure. But it is a good star ive thrown mine a lot of times and it works well i must say.

actualy the fury one isd not traditional. it is what has become popular. traditional shuriken were just objects that were shart. metal shapes (triangles, squares etc... sometime the four prong star) or sharp rods (nails or large spikes) they were not meant to kill either. just to agrivate or to deliver a doseage of poison. so in actuality, the coldsteel one is traditional. that and because of its weight, it CAN easily kill you ;)

cold steel is much better i own the stainless steel stars as well but the CS are much better and u don't need a pouch if u know how to conceal the properly

shuriken isnt ment to be sharp its ment to be pointed, and more traditional shuriken is the 4 pointed cold steel shuriken has the most traditional style its black invisible in night pinted and more huge, the huger and heavy the shuriken is the more fast its fly

i have the cold steel light throwing stars.. great quality stick in well very durable, can't go wrong with cold steel!

The fury kinda weak when it comes to penetration, but it has a good, solid "stick" on impact. That, and the sides aren't "cutting sharp" (like he said) but I have cut myself once when throwing it...It's great, but it does have it's weaknesses.
