All this is because of the past history that Indonesia has- the Regime under the military. The military nowadays is still very strong and few people dare to challenge them in various situations. Poor you guys out there who is getting pay to provoke Papua. As Papuan, we are now aware of this, and have learned from past experience that a promise from the west is too good too be true. The first time Dutch came in Indonesia was for business, then provoking some tribes to get independence, and we ended up killing each other. Eventually, the dutch took over the entire region. For me better not dead and not poor as we live right now.

As a person educated primarily in Indonesia I never knew that Indonesia's reign in Papua is illegal!!! Of course it was never told in history books and in the mainstream media. The killing and raping are inhumane to say the least. What the Indonesian government is doing is definitely a crime. I don't understand how they can get away with this , time and time again. They have been doing this to many ethnic groups over the last 60 years.

But, the whole idea is to get us killed each other while taking the resources away. You may see what kind of deal that East Timor get from this. The profit sharing of East Timor oil resources is $36 Billion for Aussie and $3 Million for East Timor. Not even 1 percent to the ET. We are now can receive 80%, while the rest 20% are to help other brother in Indonesia.

Indonesia has killed close to 5 million Papuans. There is a Papuan population difference of 4,9 million between Papua New Guinea (population 6,1 million) and West Papua (Papuan population 1,2 milllion). This is why West Papuans want Merdeka - Papua Merdeka. Wake up and take action to help them.
