@Littleziggz no accurately speaking, Sirens were simply daughters of the earth or a type of nymphs.....although they are associated with water, they are actualy anciently spoken of being on a flowery island....and in rather than turn men into frogs, sirens would lure men towards them with their beautiful voices and some say when they would stop singing, the flesh of the men would spoil...others say the men would drown themselves trying to get to the women.
