  • FAKE

  • Awesome/cool/kinda real to me

  • Looks tool-assisted. Lol.

  • Any metroid is made in lego pieces.

  • "fakefakefakefakefakeandgay"

Stfu trolls. I thought this was an epic idea, real or not. Just because it's fake doesn't automatically make it an epic fail.

  • real.

  • @captaintaco2345 dude it's fake. like the comment said. it's Gamplay Footage over Projected legos. IT'S FAKE.

  • how?????????

  • @fun3001997 Green Legos W/gameplay footage

  • fake, but done very well

  • awesome

  • cool

  • fake just an overlay of the video playing over the legos

  • Jimmy is a turd.... Still remember???

  • The legos were real

    The animation was real

    The ground was fake.

  • holy crap thats awesome!

  • It's true. It's actually an emulator. He said in his video description for Lego Super Mario 3

  • Are you guys sure it's not real, I mean, when you see with the light at the corner, it looks likes the blocks have a shadow

  • Dude it must of tooken you such a long time to make this

  • OMG

  • OMG i thought these were fake... but... i noticed.... ITS REAL

  • @blardow6 It IS fake.

  • Fake, but funny idea though. Cheating is fun!

  • look in the bottom right corner, theres some studs sticking out, this is one hundred percent positivly fake

  • Congratulations, your a turd.

  • That was the original, don't play with us! It was definetly the original =D

  • thats Awesome!!!

  • i don't think i've seen legos of those colors... ( i already know it's fake don't inform me)

  • whoa awesome

  • 127 people missed the like button

  • @Zamath119

    Go to hell

  • lol that was awesome

  • oh my god so cool!!

  • omg even I dont have such boredom

  • Thats just... Wow

  • I don't get it. What was this supposed to be?

  • chroma key noob

  • Coolest thing ever tht might have took 5000000 hours!

    very cool vid!

  • @Sk8nicnac4CP it didn't. he didn't actually make a stop motion, he just projected gameplay footage on to a lego plate.

  • No real stopmotion, still nice... well, as nice as it could be... using an animating program, that ist

  • It's great and all but it's just a green screen game play that's streched to give the appearance of Lego blocks

  • That must have taken forever.

  • its too crazy

  • not fake u see the light reflecting on the block nice work 5/5

  • fake

  • This is beyond awesome.

  • its fakelook at the bottom

  • Its not Lego...

    Boohoo, you liar!

  • Actually it is lego. If you look close enough you can tell that it is lego.

  • The recorded gameplay footage and superimposed it over a bunch of legos. They let the lighting shine through.

i.e., not real. Cool idea, but not real.

  • bo look at the bottom

  • @44dman44 Actually it is fake, if you look close enough you can tell that it is fake.

  • omfg wow

  • Nice idea. Fake yes, but nice anyway.

  • Lol, Did you ever see SMB3 Lego (related vid)

It's the same owner and he admit's it's FAKE.

  • NOPE

  • this is a nice idea but i think its just a fake...

  • um... duh?

  • I'm sorry but that is not legos, is just metroid portrayed onto a lego pad. It's still very nice and probably alot of work. 5/5.

And if it is legos, than that is truly amazing.

  • it's not. i watched in High Quality.

  • Footage of an emulator projected onto legos. Too bad the creator lied and said it was stop motion.

  • thats insane

  • OH! I see what you did. And its not fake people.

  • what do you mean

  • He has a bunch of lego's together on a table and changes the pieces in each frame to make the movement then he just added in the music.

  • Cool, I don't care if It's fake or not, it's still awsome.

  • I say 'Meh' on those of you that gave me thumbs down. Speaking as a woman who thought her husband was going to die a couple of weeks ago, there really ARE more important things in life than bickering over the quality of a fan-made video. That's a fact.

  • Fake. Stop at 0:08 when half of the head is missing (not easy though) - for what reason would the guy not render this ? The computer wouldn't, though...

  • Why are some of you arguing about how it's made and how it looks? Just enjoy the vid and relax - in the greater scheme of life, there are more important things to worry about!

  • That's what I'm thinking =.="

  • Thanks. :-) Much appreciated.

  • thats the path that leads to norfair

  • Well of course its fake its an Emulator Stretched to fit a the legos and was videeo edited or something to look like lego thing

  • so totaly real...

  • He should drop the framerate and zoom in on the lego blocks. That would look so much real and also cool.

  • Its Fake, its an emulator

  • Do not make fool out of yourself, I never said it was real.

You know, even though the footage was made on an emulator you could still drop the frame rate and make it look more real.

  • Fakefakefakefakefake

  • it would take years if not forever to do this so yeah like the ppl are saying it is a fake.

  • The Supe rmario bros 3 was not real but you mean this is real?

  • this is still fake

  • i really hope all of you do realize that this is completely fake

  • thank god!i almost thought it was real!

  • wow!!!!!

  • It's as real as the Super Mario Bros 3 one.

  • can you say "animation"

  • It's *NOT REAL*

It's gameplay from an emulator, "stretched" to fit over a photograph of a block of legos. Opacity turned down to let the texture of the blocks be visible

  • yes what he say

  • Looks good, but it's just CGI on a blank lego plate.

  • no shit sherlock

  • All he did was take a picture of some legos, take some footage of the game and put edit it over the legos and then make it slightly transparent so the blocks would sort of show through. It probably took about 20 minutes.

Why are you trying to maker people think you have even less of a life than you undoubtedly do?

  • fuck you. you would know how to do it.

  • What does that mean?

Yeah, obviously I do know how to do it, I just said how to do it, thanks for pointing that out.

  • fuckin A!!!!

  • that had to have taken a long time to do but it turned out amazing!

  • if you use nestopia there are display several filters to choose that round off the pixels and sharpen the image games look better than on an original nes

  • this has better quality than the regular metroid

  • ah yes the original we remember dont we?

  • Even in CG pixlated lego form, Samus is still hot.

  • Damn Straight!

  • cooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • even if it is fake, it's still pretty damn cool

  • Who the fuck cares?

  • Retarded people care...

  • and your point dougarr??

  • I know it's fake, but it's still awesome!!! I love it.

  • It's cool in any case.

  • Are you freaking SERIOUS??? That's AMAZING!!!

  • its fake..

  • Yes, unfortunately, I only noticed that after hitting post. I soon recognized the edges of the Keying sigh.,

  • he is using a green lego pad and he is using a green screen video program to play over a clip he filmed of metroids. good vid though. oh, and please be sure to check out Frickey fresh beat boxing, featuring garrett frickey!!! thanks guys!

  • its fake, he says so on his smb3 video.

  • That is absolutely amazing. I can't image how much time it must have taken you to do that.

I've always had the utmost respect for stop motion animators, and you sir or madam, get all of it. Good show.

  • you know it's fake. just a screen fit and stretched over a lego board with opacity turned down to make the blocks visible. i could do this myself on adobe aftereffects if i had enough legos.

  • It's *NOT REAL*

It's gameplay from an emulator, "stretched" to fit over a photograph of a block of legos. Opacity turned down to let the texture of the blocks be visible.

  • dude he never said that about this vid

  • that was awesome! i believe that you made it out of lego unlike those haters. awesome vid

  • you know it's fake. just a screen fit and stretched over a lego board with opacity turned down to make the blocks visible. i could do this myself on adobe aftereffects if i had enough legos.

  • look it's gameplay from an emulator, "stretched" to fit over a photograph of a block of legos. Opacity turned down to let the texture of the blocks be visible, i've even done this before

  • Sweet vid.

  • the man who did that did not had anything else to do, right?

  • sry i withdraw my last comment at a closr look its real(and lokkin at the donkey kong vid)my sinsere apologise:(

  • u can tell its just zoomed in so u can see the pixels makin it look like lego anyway to make this it wud of takin u months posiblee years

  • Its fake

  • The only thing that this a peice of shit is that he would lie about the stop motion

  • Where is the NES logo?????

  • it is fake, u used a clear big lego peace and a projector

  • It's fake !

  • NO WAY! WHEN DID YOU REALIZE THAT??

  • that looks like a TAS made of legos

  • TAS??

  • Tool.

    Assisted.

    Speedrun.

Speedruns done on an emulator, which you can slow down or speed up, to make the fastest time possible.

  • Yeah, I know that, but why did he call it a TAS?

  • Hmm..... After looking at it, I think he said that because the dude shot behind him, in less than a fraction of a second.Looks like he slowed it down. With a tool.

  • this is fake, dont believe this shit, this low life posts shit like this everytime, this garbage gets no star

  • Meh I don't believe this is real. Looks like you zoomed in on some real gameplay.

  • you have a very very good and gaming creative!!!

  • damn how many "years" did this take! lol thats awsome

  • Who honestly has the time for this!?!? Cool, though.

  • actually, the legos look brown, or clear depending on where you look.

  • yea ur right. i see at the corner!

  • you can tell its fake, look closely at the edge of the border, you can see a superimposed background.

  • wow! fav

  • completely fake. you can't even get lego bricks in most of those colors! BOO!

  • lego's!

  • Think about how long that would have taken if it was real.

  • it ain't lego! no way you could do stop motion that smooth!

  • look closly at the left bottom corner it's made out lego's.

  • look, the "legos" are so thin that looks like NES graphics...

THERE'S NOT ANY LEGO!!!STOP DOING THINGS THAT ARE NOT REAL!!!!PEOPLE CRITICATES THAT!!!!!!!!! >.( l»:(

  • FAAAAKE!.but whoever playd kick ass!

  • nvm

  • It is not legos, it is NES graphics

  • It's fake cause there aint LEGo pieces with all colors in the world.

  • i cant reli blve tht but i can see the bricks

  • I have a feeling it could be real, despite the small glitches. He could have done them on purpose. I would have.

  • There's no lego, you fucking wasted my time!

  • The autor himself states its fake, read the description of his Mario 3 clip.

  • This is sooo fake, look at 0:10 where there's a bug and Samus head chop off, i mean if u did this in lego shot by shot, why would u miss the head during one frame?

  • just pause it and look closely
