Cindy Sheehan said that Israel killed her son and not the crazy Muslim maniac who blew him up...
... Whether you supported the war or not, if you don't blame the killer, then you might as well forgive every murderer who ever lived and put the blame on everyone else. It's like saying the deaths in Gaza aren't the fault of Israeli's who commited them, but I have a feeling Cindy Sheehan wouldn't avoid that kind of contradiction.

How in the hell does Noam Chomsky know enough about climate science to say that NO scientist (that means ALL scientists) who "knows anything" denies man made GW? He's a linguist who probably can't even match his socks more than 5 times a week. lol
As one of the world's most renowned scientists he doesn't need to be a climatologist to know a thing or two about the difference between science and pseudoscience.
Think about it my friend, he constructs elaborate gilded cages in which to trap intellectuals.
He offers a baseline analysis which is very rigorous and thorough but never offers a unifying synthesis.
His culprit is always some nation-state category of experience entity which merely underwrites the problem without ever identifying the source. I realize it is difficult, I too once looked to chomsky with such glad tidings and poured through his excellent research....
First I contrast our two statements & ask for an explanation, then I make a joke about your effort to assert intellectual dominance through a fatuous use of verbose words, you cloak whatever it is you say behind an impenetrable wall. It pats on the back anyone who is 'in' and excludes anyone who is 'out'. If it is deciphered nothing of any real meaning could be found, and certainly could have been said plainly.
Its a technique developed by the post-modernists and much criticised by Chomsky.
You attack my argument on the basis of the terms employed and not the sense thereof.
Make up your mind what you are upset about and knock off trying to use your own words and characterizations of others to "define" them in a way that is easy for you to attack.
So my argument is invalid because you lack a proper education?
ok.
Funny, having read chomsky's work I know first hand that he makes even more robust a use of the english language than I, yet I do not see you making the same protest against him! haha
I won't return fire with curse words as you used and please realize it reveals your intelligence level. One can become a gatekeeper intentionally or not. The U.S./Suharto meeting in late '75 IS an important story. But ignoring the, literally, tons of evidence that 9/11 was an inside job is an untenable position from such a worshipped "intellectual" like Chomsky. Please stop bowing to these human gods and do your own damn research (beyond something funded by Hearst Corp.).
There is more to it than that. The US has committed far worse crimes. Why concentrate on this one, which has inadequate academic support, as opposed to the others where the documented record is massive?
There are also many reasons to believe it wasn't an inside job. A pretext for Middle Eastern intervention would not have been hard to ascertain. Why risk dissolving the Republican party and being lined up in front of a firing squad? It's a sort of inane proposition.
Are you saying all of this happens w/o 9/11? That's absa ridic. And I don't know which crime you're referring to. And how is the Repub party dissolved? When the Dems finish their lines in the script and become the new bad guys, the Rep's will swoop to center stage and slay the evil Dem dragon. And the wheels on the bus go round and round... Curious, what are your 9/11 non-inside job reasons? Luv to hear 'em.
I don't explain myself to 9/11 truthers out of principle, it would pretend that it was me who needed the evidence and not yourself, and you can't logically disprove a negative. It would be like me trying to show you why a hamster doesn't control the world.
Quite the reverse. The burden of proof is on those who carry water for the widely-accepted government conspiracy theory or "investigation" that John Farmer and 6 of the 10 commissioners understand was, let's say, problematic. I could show you evidence of gov't contradictions and malfeasance regarding 9/11 but, the cozy Al Qaeda perpetual-crisis-bubble you're living in will no doubt prohibit you from listening. Enjoy that Patriot Act. I wish you and your principles all the best.
Kent, go look at a graph of temperature fluctuation over the last 400k years derived from ice core samples, it shows 4 interglacial periods and spikes in temperature that exceed all recent data.
How can we argue against consensus science though when its proponnents refuse to acknowledge such evidence?
Look, I am not pro corporations nor am I pro pollution, hell I started as an environmentalist.
But we all must be aware that the agenda here is to create a Direct Tax on All Human activity, not save the earth... not anymore. The environmental movement has been hijacked and most of the people left in it are being duped into global governance because they are being told it will save the planet.
However they are educational: the business worlds efforts to prevent action being taken on the environment are now being cross-pollinated with the NWO zeitgeist in an effort to procure more gas bags to generate more obfuscation and delays and hold ups, they tapped the religious crazies a few years ago and now they're tapping you oakies.
you sir are either woefully naive or deliberately ignorant.
the real environmental action we need is dismantling monsanto, GMO pollution is several categories of dangerous greater than CO2.
And of course the largest polluters, industrial practices, in so far as they are inefficient etc.
The global warming swindle is about destroying the western world and turning the human species into slaves, if you cannot piece that together you are hopeless sir.
"Virtually no scientists" say that climate change is cyclical (meaning: tied to sun cycles). Hmm, I wonder if that's true? Oh yeah, it's not. Wait until we all get hit with N.A.M.A.s (look 'em up, PLEASE!!) via the UNELECTED GOVERNMENT described in the UNFCCC Copenhagen Treaty. Then, it will be too late, but then you'll be tired of getting DUPED by junk science, the fake left/right scam, and globalist propaganda. Ugh, probably not.... ALL HAIL AL GORE!!!
Noam Chomsky does not have to become a 9-11 Truther.
He has exposed the US Empire for what it is, a large war mongering corporation, that bullies the rest of the world and takes what it wants and gives it to the rich and gets the middle and lower class to fight it's battles and support it with blind patriotism.
Chomsky states that the terror around the world is "Blow Back" for it's foreign policy.
He is right but, what he doesn't want to admit is many of the attacks throughout US history have been orchestrated and carried out by special black operations within the US Military and CIA.
We need to embrace the volumes of research and analysis that Mr. Chomsky has provided and at the same time, we must expose the US Empire's tactics of False Flag Terror and other Black Op's.
There is a chance the Chomsky is acting as a Left Wing Gatekeeper, working to"corral" those of us that stray from the herd, just as there is a chance that Ron Paul is a Right Wing Gatekeeper, corralling the Tea Partiers and the Constitutional Revolutionaries
We must take the truth from them, and not lose or compromise our principles and beliefs, and at the same time we must realize that they cannot save us, we must make the changes ourselves, change starts with you and I, right here, right now.
Xtreme, I've been called "crazy" for saying Chomsky is a left gatekeeper. I guess just saying there's a "chance" makes you crazy, too! ;-) Let's just say that chance is VERY, VERY, VERY likely.
Excellent sir, I have come away with the same analysis and recently even said this in a video. Very nice to see I am not alone in that view, it is disheartening to bury our heroes, no doubt - but must we not bury them when they have become irrelevant for standing on the wrong side of history itself?
yes, but it has been that no matter who asks him this question, he gives the same answer. i guess i'm not so interested in the supposed wtc7 conspiracy that i want to hear him give the same exact, frustrated answer to this question.
why does the goddamn volume go down at the end of Chomsky's replies?

I think the CIA blowback analysis is valid from a certain standpoint but that this is largely a deterministically fomented hatred.
The USA has been used as an adjunct for the NWO system, a bulldog, a vehicle for neocolonialism.
