And when the truck is back in service, I would like to see a fuller-length video of this engine in action (preferably 5-8 minutes).
Acceleration?! I prefer smooth (moderate acceleration) and long rides to preserve the life of the engine.
Listen to that old Detroit scream. They don't make em like that anymore. 8V92?

it is a 8V92TA DETROIT with a HT740 Allison Transmission
nope. the 8V92 of today is known as the Series 60 lol. The 8V92 stopped when Detroit stopped build'in 6V92s and that was back in like 1995/96 or so.
Actually yes, this engine IS an 8V92TA.
