I'm also a big fan of the Pacifica 1221. Mine is bright yellow with a black pickguard. The 1221 is suitable for a lot of different styles of music, and it's absolutely perfect for Def Lep type rock. The clucky clean tone you get from it in 2nd position is one of my favorites, and works well for the verses of Hysteria, Animal, Love Bites, Tonight, etc.
The intro implies C#min--F#min--A, then it switches to E. The verse is C#min--F#sus2--Asus2--C#min--B5--E5--F#5. The bridge ("On a countdown to zero...") is Fmaj7sus2--Gmaj6 repeated. The pre-chorus ("Here it comes..") is B5--D5--A5--E5--A5--B5. The chorus is G/B--C5--G5--D5 (X3) - G - G/F# - E. The outro is Am(add9) - Am(add9)/C - D/F# - Dm/F - E7b9 (add b6).
Awesome. I figured you would be playing a Pacifica. What is the amp u r using here to still get that leppard sound? I understand that the tone is coming right out of your hands. Do you own a Rockman, is all this from a ROCKMAN?
This song is my absolute favorite by Def Leppard. I can sing it but to be able to play it on guitar would really be awesome! I commend you.
