Not dogging anything maybe the 5.0 That is a beautiful fox I have a 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 2.3 turbo that is soon to be making close to 1000 crank hp all with the stock crank head and block and stock length rods. Yes I know it would be easier with a Esslinger head but why spend the money when the stock head ported will do. I will be putting the motor in my 94 F150 4x4 shortbed that now has a 5.0 5speed. Don't worry I will put a 2.3 turbo back in the turbo coupe just be all aftermarket
@nine3cobra Well plans have changed due to the me breaking the input shaft on the t5 5speed in my truck so I now have a 85 ranger that had a 2.8 v6 5speed so now the turbo 2.3 is in the ranger just my buddy wanted to look at the turbo when it was out so he tried unbolting it and broke a stud so I am now making a custom header

And the block is made out of cast iron so it'll add like 200 lbs to the front end.. I thought it would be bad to but.. idk. look into it there's a fox witha lightning motor here on youtube

Really? I love the 5.0s but damn those new ones that come out are sweet. Going back to a muscle look. The meanest looking ones are 03-04 but the new ones are hella sweet if you ask me.
Im a F-body fan, but gotta say that Hatch does catch my eye. The rims and color of the Stang matches. Only thing i really like about the Fox bodies are that they're lighter compared to Trans Ams and Camaros of the same year, BUT, in my opinion the Trans Ams/Camaros were better looking.
Yes 5.0's are easier to work on and cheaper than a IROC Z..and even comparing say a 94-95 5.0 to a 94-98 Z28 I still picked my sn95 for availabilty of aftermarket and more room to work with since the 4th gen f bodies are cramped even though the lt1 is good...5.0 over chevy anyday...I used to be die hard chevyman till got a 5.0 not the fastest stock but probably the best over all EFI V8 to mod IMO

Really? I love the 5.0s but damn those new ones that come out are sweet. Going back to a muscle look. The meanest looking ones are 03-04 but the new ones are hella sweet if you ask me.

Im a F-body fan, but gotta say that Hatch does catch my eye. The rims and color of the Stang matches. Only thing i really like about the Fox bodies are that they're lighter compared to Trans Ams and Camaros of the same year, BUT, in my opinion the Trans Ams/Camaros were better looking.

Same here man. Nvr a fan of mustangs but this one turned me. Soo i do like the 87-93 5.0 only the lx's tho. The gt body looks to big and bulky

Yes 5.0's are easier to work on and cheaper than a IROC Z..and even comparing say a 94-95 5.0 to a 94-98 Z28 I still picked my sn95 for availabilty of aftermarket and more room to work with since the 4th gen f bodies are cramped even though the lt1 is good...5.0 over chevy anyday...I used to be die hard chevyman till got a 5.0 not the fastest stock but probably the best over all EFI V8 to mod IMO

@ls1phsyco Every mustang owner in my town has a 5.0 , but there's like an 1 "05 roush ,1 "00 -04 roush , 1 "08 GT500 , and 3 "96 -99 Cobra's ........but this is just a town with about 4000 people
