I came here looking for the standard promo; real musicians playing into the MTRS, and listening to the real results (compression be damned). If you were interested in buying this, you should have expected the same. It's a poor representation of the product, emphasizing style over substance like I've never seen, and my innocent-enough comment reflected that.
If it is an 8-track recorder why can't it record 8 tracks at a time? Being limited to 2 track recording is a real turn-off if you want to capture a live performance in order to mixdown later.
Hmm, I've never tried playing the notes that are ON the frets. I've only played the ones that are BETWEEN the frets before. Maybe I'll try it ! ...I like 2010s "punk rockers" who think Sid Vicious wore Gene Simmons platform shoes in 1977...xD
No offense, but next time maybe have your creative team actually use real musicians to cut your promos. It's like someone brought a Hooters girl back from lunch on Casual Friday at TASCAM then put a Portastudio in front of her, stuck a bass in her hand and started recording
@Mose1349 This machine great. If you want to hear sound quality check out my song stay the night. It was my 1st full song on the Tascam. It was mostly improvised. Listen to that song and thento Religious Persuasion which was done in a studio. The quality of the Tascam =s the studio song. 0 handicaps when you consider that you can link to the computer via usb and further enhance your sound. You have many options with this unit. Great quality for a low price, and so extremely easy to use!

I've worked in recording studio on an SSL and a Neve in studio B for 25 years...and I just wanted to see what it looked this looked like (for a hotel scratch pad) and hear a bit about it...Seeing some teenager with his 'awesome ax' or not doesn't phase me one bit.....listen, 'if you gotta talk it you ain't' As for the stick up my ass...You're an idiot. Grow up.
