My ferrets and cats actually loved water. They would shower with me at least once a week. They had their special shampoo just for them. Always smelled fresh ans were very happy. Mine LOVED the vacuum cleaner nozzle. Do yours?

I find if the water's warm, they quite happily just sit/stand in the water still and love it, makes washing them very easy.

hey, thats cool my ferrets name is smokey he's cool he has a orange tail but hes white and yellow. he also survived a fire . he my fuzzball<3 but they shouldnt be wet to long or they'll have no body heat

thats really weird my brother and mines ferrets (each had one) were named smokey and bandit. Same way to haha albino one (mine ) was smokey

*chuckles* Bandit does the same thing my ferret Mars does when I bath her. She hates the water, so I make sure not to give her one to often.

Thats nothing compared to bath time at my girlfriend's house. She and her friend have a total of seven ferrets, bath time is quite interesting, especially with two of them who absolutely HATE the water. They act like its acid.

i have one who hats baths but at the motels we go to walked in to a shower on his own free will all the rest of mine are water babies

@savoulis1 Just because they're related to otters doesn't mean they live in the same environments. My ferrets HATE being wet. I bathe them once a month and I hear a lot that you shouldn't bathe them much at all and just feed them right to deal with the smell.

@birdman404 just put him in a bath tub with luke warm water. Not to deep and as you do this hold them from somewhere around the chest. Do this once a month because if you do it to often you will wash away its moisture and it will become more smelly

Their Cute, I Have a sable ferret named Mochi And He hates water x: He always tried to climb out, But once he's in for awhile he starts to like it, I Got him on June29th For my Bday, And He was crazy xD Then he settled down after awhile n I take him outside to Run and Dooke. Your ferrets are adorable though. <3

Maybe he just always has to poop when you give him a bath... you could try making sure he goes before bath time next time.
