@cDefinbaker He had plenty of runway. When you fly out of larger fields you learn to land long when needed. As long as you can still put it down more or less where you wanted to you are good. It's when you start excepting "where ever" is good enough. Thats when you can get yourself into trouble.
The stall warning is kinda nice in every landing but a landing without the stall warning can also come by nicer that some others with the warning! BTW nice cessna I like the LCD it has, is it yours?
stall warning? - on Cessna 172s it works by air flow, like a whistle, rather than an electronic horn or beep or alarm.... on that video clip, it's a long runway and the first exit was some way along it so I held the aircraft off the runway til the wings were pretty much stalled... the stall warning was screeching as it should!
Excellent! Thielert has been making inverted V-4 diesels in Europe for Cessnas, Pipers and DiamondStars due to more availability of diesel/jet fuel versus pricier gasoline. An American manufacturer is almost at FAA certification for a similar V4 engine in the USA. BTW...nice LCD display!
If you've got them lined up behind you and on the taxiway waiting for you, there is nothing wrong with coming in hot and a little long.
