Good for her to invite him to a synagogue service. Ray said that he would love to. Did he? Where is the video of him speaking with the rabbi? I'm touchy about them disagreeing with me on some issues because I've seen some really mean people who called themselves Christians who will be cruel if others disagree with them. We Jews have read Torah in its original Hebrew. The Messiah, for example, must be born of a regular man and a woman.

The Jews responded back to that with Birkat haMinim, Toledot Yeshu, and Avodah Zarah. Whatever you do don't trust Way of the Master, theyre controlled by Satan. The bible says youre saved by faith only (believing only, like it says in Acts 16:30-31), and then if you sin after salvation God will deal with it, so you dont need to worry bout turning from your sins, God will deal with that after youre saved, he will chastise/discipline you for your sins on earth if you sin after salvation (check hebrews 12:6-11, hebrews 10:26-31, psalm 38 etc.) Trust the bible not Way of the Master.

I supose that in that guy's version of Christianity, that Jesus Christ preached using deceipt and deception. They break no laws by doing that. People by their own will are interviewed, and they can walk off if they like. We live in a society of free speech and every idea or philosophy operates in a free enterprise fashion. There is no harm done in witnessing to someone. Christianity is one of the few religions that is quite exclusive. It makes many claims that people do not like, namely that Jesus claimed to be the one and only way, not through being pious, religious, spiritual or ascetic.

At the beginning, Kirk Cameron reported that they approached this woman and told her that they were "looking for people in green shirts and they need to be Jewish" to interview. It was obviously told in a joking manner and the woman agreed. It is clear that she was deceived into thinking that it was not going to be a proselytization session. The New Testament clearly places deceipt in the evil categories of audultery, fornication, murder, theft, etc; the very things that Comfort preaches are sinful, yet he admittedly uses deceit to attract unsuspecting people to the camera. He didn't convince her at all. His main arguement is "Being a jew is hard. You're eventually going to make a mistake and sin, you have already, so why don't you just give up and be a christian. We have sin erasure gaurantee and your jewish repentance method is hard and we don't think it works" Apparently no one told him anytihng worth doing is hard. I like how those christians are so hateful. Lets take the example of the paedophile. If he rapes a poor kid, does that make him bad? He sure does bad actions, but if he knew it was bad, or could resist doing it, would he still do it? The truth is, morality is much more complicated, especially the punishments.
Hell was just invented by religious people to control the masses and to give a sense of power to believers. They get revenge with hell and avoid accepting death with heaven.

Ray Comfort thinks he all high and mighty but in reality there are people from many other religions that know more about their own religion then Ray Knows about his and they are much more convinced that they are right then Ray thinks he is right and they can defend their religion better then Ray can defend his own. So what makes Ray think he is so much better then anyone else? What makes him right and everyone else wrong?Nothing. Execpt for a biased book written 2,000 years ago by flawed humans

@Kwilder1992 You are correct. "Our Bible", meaning for those who are Christian. The people in this video are prosletyzing to people who are members of other great faiths, and that is patently offensive, arrogant, and plain wrong. They have a holier-than-thou my-religion-is-better-than-your-religion attitude, which is how wars and bloodshed have been instigated throughout history. Shame on them.

You are absolutely convinced that no one can be absolutely convinced of anything absolute. Just pointing out the inconsistency. That aside, yes Christians could step outside of their box and try to present their case in a way that is more applicable to the outsider's way of viewing things. Perhaps also be less confrontational and adversarial, its hard to find a balance between staying true to your convictions and trying to appeal to others in love.

@v01741r31 and just to be fair, nobody can be convinced of ANYTHING concerning religion, from the atheists, to the die-hard jihadists.
religion can only be taken on faith (resulting in the word faith), and it is understandable that the religious would be 100% convinced of something so sweet as religion, but to take so far as to push it on others who worship based on what they personally believe is what gets on my nerves, because nobody has the answers, people have their own answers
